    • PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of system by allowing a medium attachment unit MAU to receive a signal on a unidirectional transmission line and detecting the collision of signals on the unidirectional transmission line from the result of reception so as to detect surely the collision on the carrier bad transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A reception line 3 and a transmission line 2 are connected by a head end 4 on the unidirectional transmission line 1 of the information transmission system and a high-order protocol (not shown in figure) is connected to the transmission line 1 via plural MAU 6a-6n. An FM modulation section 11 of each MAU modulates the transmission information from the protocol by using the packet data, the result is transmitted from a transmission amplifier 13 to the transmission line 1 and to a reception line 3 via the head end 14. This signal is received by the reception amplifier 14, demodulated by an FM demodulator 16 via a BPF15 and inputted to the protocol. Moreover, the collision detecting circuit 17 detects the collision of the signal on the transmission line 1, the result of detection is outputted from a collision display generating circuit 18 to the protocol as a display signal so as to detect surely the collision on the transmission line 1.

    • PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole device and consequently make the installation space smaller and, in addition, contrive to improve the thermal efficiency by a structure wherein a boiler main body, which generates steam by means of a pulse burner consisting in inserting a combustion chamber and a tail pipe in the central portion of a vessel for liquid to be heated, and a decoupler, which is arranged at the upper end discharge port of the tail pipe and to the upper part of which an exhaust pipe is connected, are integrally provided. CONSTITUTION:A boiler main body 1 consists in inserting a pulse burner combustion chamber 5 and a tail pipe 6 in a long vertical cylindrical water tank 2. Because the tail pipe 6 to lead exhaust gas outside, a decoupler 7 and an exhaust pipe 10 are provided integral with the boiler body 1, the whole device is miniaturized and the installation space becomes smaller. Further, because the upper end discharge port 8 of the tail pipe 6 is penetrated in the decoupler 7 with protruded state, the sound filtering effect is enhanced and at the same time drain developed at a heat exchanger 9 for recovery of latent heat of condensation can be prevented from falling in the combustion chamber 5. Because the suction port 12 is not located opposing to the upper end discharge port 8 of the tail pipe 6, the direct sending of combustion gas into the exhaust pipe 10 can be prevented for occurring, resulting in improving the thermal efficiency of the heat exchanger 8 for the recovery of latent heat of condensation.

The films 15 and 14 are anisotropically etch-removed by the method of reactive ion etching, and the Si3N4 pattern 16 and the polycrystalline Si pattern 17 are formed. Then, the field oxide layer 18 is formed by hydrogen combustion oxidation with the pattern 16 as a mask.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the system constitution by providing a means detecting surely the signal collision to a sole medium attachment unit MAU so as to connect plural information processing units to the MAU. CONSTITUTION:The medium attachment unit MAU13 is connected to a transmission line 11 of the line concentration distributing system and plural information processing units 15 are connected to each MAU13. The MAU13 is provided with a line concentration distributing circuit 31, and transmission, reception, collision display and power lines comprising AUI cables 1-n are connected to the distributing circuit 31. An output from the distributing circuit 31 is processed by a transmission system 33, a reception system 35 and a collision detecting system 37. The collision detecting system 37 consists of an envelope detecting circuit 61 detecting the envelope of the signal from the reception system 35, a beat signal detecting circuit 63, an OR gate 65 and a collision display signal generating device 67. Further, the collision of the signal is detected surely to the MAU13 and plural information processing units 15 are connected to the sole MAU13.
