摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device capable of maintaining vacuum of the inside of a reserve vacuum chamber, by arranging side pieces confronting with each other on both end faces of a seal roll so that the side pieces are covered with a bearing housing. CONSTITUTION:Fluorine resin 23 is fused together with side pieces 21, 22 sealing both end face sides of a top and bottom seal rolls 16, 17 of a reserve vacuum chamber and the side piece 21 is pressed against the roll movably in an axial direction by a coil spring 24. Even if the side pieces 21, 22 is covered with a bearing housing 26 and the side piece 21 is moved in the axial direction along with the seal roll 16 through thermal expansion of the seal rolls 16, 17, a leak from a space between the bearing housing 26 and the side piece 21 is reduced drastically.

摘要： PURPOSE:To impart durable antifouling properties and plasticizer migration inhibiting properties to a vinyl chloride resin molding, by carrying out low- temperature glow discharge under specified conditions and treating the molding contg. a plasticizer with low-temperature plasma generated. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin molding contg. 10-150pts.wt. plasticizer per 100pts.wt. resin is placed in an internal electrode type low-temperature plasma generating apparatus 1 having a discharge electrode 4 (e.g. a rotating tubular cathode) one end of which is earthed, and the apparatus is evacuated by a vacuum pump 2. While passing an inorg. gas such as air or argon from a gas introducing pipe 3 therethrough, glow discharge is caused between electrodes 4 and 6 at a discharge voltage of 4,000V or higher supplied from a high- frequency power source 8 to treat the molding with low-temperature plasma generated, whereby the surface characteristics of the vinyl chloride resin molding is modified to impart durable antifouling properties and plasticizer migration inhibiting properties thereto.

摘要： PURPOSE:To correct meandering without stopping operations by supporting one end of the shaft of a conveyance roller as rotatable and fitting an eccentric bearing cartridge to the other end of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:In a vacuum process chamber 1 of a flexible work object (not shown in the figure), one end side of a guide roller 18 guiding the work object is supported as rotatable by means of a spherical bearing 20 fixed to the process chamber 1, and the other end side is supported to an eccentric bearing cartridge 24 inserted into a side plate 21 by means of a spherical bearing 23. At this time, the center position A of the cartridge 24 is off-centered in relation to the center position B of the roller 18 so that the roller 18 is capable of moving in all directions. If the work object moves in zigzag, the cartridge 24 is rotated with an operation lever (not shown in the figure), and the roller 18 is moved toward the correct direction, then the cartridge 24 is rotated in the reverse direction, bringing the roller 18 to a fixed position.

The ultraviolet lamps 104 in the ultraviolet treatment tank 101 that irradiate with ultraviolet light a workpiece that has been introduced onto a rotating drum 102 by guide rolls 103 have cooling jackets therein, whose cooling action prevents the properties of the workpiece from being changed. The spare chamber is provided with upper and lower rolls 13, 14 which are integrally covered with a rubber elastomer 12, upper and lower cases 15, 16 covering them, and resilient ripple members 17, 18 that deliver the workpiece forward while retaining the atmosphere in the system.

CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin composition parepared by blending 100 parts by wt of vinyl chloride resin, with 0.003-3 parts of antistatic agent selected from cationic surface active agents, such as primary amine salts, quarternary ammonium salts, stabilizer, plasticizer, etc., is molded. The moldings are set in the plasma generator and low temperature plasma is generated by passing a gas free from plasma polymerization, such as He, Ar, under a pressure of 10 -10 Torr and applying electric power of 13.56 MHz and 10-500W between electrodes, whereby the surface of the moldings is treated for several sec-min of tens.
