摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of an error even at the time of diversity antenna switching and to secure the reception quality by switching multiplexed digital signals at the timing of a clock signal when an antenna input is selected. CONSTITUTION:An FM radio wave is received and converted into an IF signal, IF level detecting circuits 104 and 204 detect input levels, and a level comparator 108 compares the levels to select the higher level. The output composite signals of FM demodulating circuits 106 and 206, on the other hand, are selected by a switching circuit 114 and a digital signal is extracted from the selected signal and demodulated by a digital demodulating circuit 116. A clock regenerating circuit 112 regenerates the clock signal from the circuit 116 and outputs it. A timing control circuit 110 outputs an antenna switching control signal at the timing of the circuit 112 and the circuit 114 switches the antenna input. Consequently, the reception quality can be secured without generating any error due to antenna switching.

摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically select a broadcasting station of a better receiving condition in accordance with movement of a car by selecting another station via one of both tuner parts based on the frequency data on the substitute station if the error of a data header which is demodulated at the other tuner part exceeds a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 11 mounted in an on-vehicle radio receiver 1 outputs the control voltage to the PLL circuits 9 and 10 in response to the channel selecting operations. The tuner parts 4 and 5 receive the same broadcasting station. Meanwhile a selecting circuit 6 selects one of both parts 4 and 5 and demodulates it. When the error of a data header which is detected by a data header error detecting circuit 12 exceeds a prescribed level, the microcomputer 11 receives another broadcasting station through the other tuner part based on the substitute frequency data. In such a way, both parts 4 and 5 receive the same station when a station where the data header error is less than a prescribed level is detected. Thus the stations can be automatically selected according to the movement of a car.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase a transmission capacity of an OFDM while minimizing the deterioration in a bit error rate characteristic due to the effect of crosstalk or the like and to attain digital TV broadcast within a width of a band of an existing-channel of a TV broadcast by selecting kinds of 8 or more signal points and sending data of 3-bit or more with one transmission symbol of a carrier. CONSTITUTION:A transmission data allocating current 13 for each carrier allocates a digital signal by one transmission symbol of data subjected to interleaving to plural carriers. Digital data allocated to each carrier are converted into a complex number in response to the bit pattern by a data generating circuit 14 on the frequency axis. The absolute value and the argument of a signal point on a complex plane correspond to the amplitude and the phase taken by each carrier. The frequency axis data generating circuit 14 applies octal phase PSK modulation to each carrier and 3-bit data per one signal point are sent.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain de-interleave processing with use of a single RAM and to simplify the constitution by utilizing a transmission period of a header data at the top of one frame to read a digital data written in the RAM. CONSTITUTION:The digital data of a RAM 1 is read by utilizing the transmission period for a framing code FC and a mode control code MC being a header data. That is, a CPU 8 controls an address changeover circuit 10 for the transmission period of a digital data such as a voice data or a character data to select write address from an address generating circuit 9 and to write the digital data to the RAM 1 so as to form an original code string and controls the address changeover circuit 10 for the transmission period of header data of a succeeding frame to select a readout address from an address bus and to read the digital data by 34 packets in the RAM 1 at high speed. Thus, the transmission period of the header data at the head of one frame is used to read the digital data written in the RAM. Thus, deinterleave processing is attained by using a single RAM to simplify the constitution.

VSBAM modulators 316 and 317 execute VSBAM modulation to the band-limited video signals outputted from the picture processing parts 309 and 310 with the respective channels of the CATV as the carriers and output those signals. Thus, without enlarging the band width, the video signal and the digital signal similar to the same channel satellite broadcasting signal can be transmitted in the transmission system of the CATV or the like.

CONSTITUTION:A timing generator 113 outputs a sampling signal 128 and a timing control signal 129 and an ADPCM modulator 105 converts an input signal into a digital audio signal 114 synchronously with the signal 128. Data buffers 106, 107 output transfer enable signals 102, 104 to each data service, a selection circuit 117 selects the signal and stores the selected signal to a data buffer 108. A data and a parity by one frame are stored in one-frame memories 109, 110, a coding means 502 encodes the data by using information sets 504, 506 and reloads the one frame memories by using signals 503, 504. A mode deciding circuit 501 selects a proper mode based on a part 500 representing information in a mode control code, and outputs the result via an output buffer 112. Through such constitution above, the data is code by using proper strong error correction coding according to a conventional frame structure depending on the decided mode and a large capacity of data is sent.
