    • Disclosed is a silver halide photographic photosensitive material comprising a support having thereon a layer which contains at least one dye represented by general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein, R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a sulfonic acid group, a carboxylic acid group or a CONHR, SO.sub.2 NHR, NHSO.sub.2 R, NHCOR or NHCONHR group (where R is an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group); R.sup.2 represents a group represented by SO.sub.2 R, COR or CONHR (where R has the same significance as before); R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different, and each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, an amino group or a halogen atom; R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are the same or different, and each represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, an acyl group or a sulfonyl group; R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 may be joined together to form a five or six membered ring; R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 may be joined with the adjacent R.sup.4 respectively to form five or six membered rings; n represents an integer of value 0 to 3; provided that there are at least three acidic substituent groups within the dye.

    • A ball screw having a groove-shaped ball return passage has improved durability, ball circulation performance, and working performance. The ball screw is provided with: a threaded shaft having a spiral groove at its outer circumferential surface; a nut having a spiral groove which faces the spiral groove at its inner circumferential surface; a plurality of balls rotatably loaded in a spiral raceway constituted by the two spiral grooves; and a ball circulation groove which returns and circulates the balls from an end point to a start point of the raceway. Further, the edge portions constituted by the two side surfaces of the ball circulation groove and the surfaces which continue from the side surfaces and extend in the axial direction are formed to be rounded.

    • An electronic apparatus has a normal mode and an energy saving mode for reducing power consumption, and includes a main control unit, a sub control unit, a main storage unit, and a sub storage unit. The sub control unit includes a processing unit performing a part of an update process by storing software update data in the sub storage unit when a software update request is received during the energy saving mode. The main control unit includes a processing unit performing a rest of the update process by moving or copying the software update data from the sub storage unit to the main storage unit and by updating software stored in the main storage unit with the software update data after the electronic apparatus returns from the energy saving mode to the normal mode.
