    • An image object content generation device has a key generation unit that generates a key that is a reference for distinguishing an object pixel from a background pixel per pixel of an inputted image signal, a frame size changing unit that changes a frame size of the image signal, and a low frequency component passing unit that removes high frequency components of the image signal which was processed in the frame size changing unit. The image object generation device also has a pixel compensation unit that performs a padding processing to the image signal which was processed in the low frequency component passing unit by using Low Pass Extrapolation padding algorithm, and a pixel selecting unit that selects one of the Image signal which was processed in the low frequency component passing unit and the image signal which was processed in the pixel compensation unit.

    • A base lens of a polyurethane resin comprising a polyisocyanate compound and a polythiol, a sulfur-containing polyol or the like is coated with a primer layer having a thickness sufficient for shock absorption, an organosiloxane-type, hard coat layer having a refractive index of 1.47 or more, and optionally a thin metal layer in that order. As having this constitution, the plastic lens has a mechanical strength resistant to striking energy of not smaller than 4 times the striking energy value of the FDA Standard, 0.204 joules, when the center thickness of the lens is from 0.7 mm to less than 1.2 mm. Since the latitude in the acceptable range for the conditions for the processing of the lens (relative to the thickness of each constitutive layer) is large, the producibility of the lens is high. An inhomogeneous layer may be formed between the adjacent layers, which reduces the reflectivity of the lens for transmitting light and prevents the formation of interference fringes in the lens. An ultraviolet absorbent, if added to the hard coat layer, can cut off ultraviolet rays, while preventing the base lens and the coat layers from being aged, and is helpful in protecting eyeballs.
    • PCT No.PCT / JP96 / 03099 Sec。

    • A finisher includes moving devices, which are movably mounted relative to a conveying path for applying additional-workings to a sheet having an image formed surface, such as a folding stopper which adjusts the position for folding the sheet, an aligning device which aligns the edge of sheet being temporarily stacked, and a head unit of a stapler which staples the sheet at a proper position. The finisher retracts or returns the moving devices to their relevant home positions, which are separated by prescribed distances from the conveying path when a jam of a sheet occurs. Accordingly, the finisher forms a space which accepts a user's hand in the neighborhood of the stuck sheet, improves the operational efficiency of removing the sheet, and prevents the user from touching the moving devices and inevitably moving them to abnormal positions.
