    • A highly oriented, undrawn, conductive, composite filament is provided, which is white or colorless and has antistatic properties durable over a long period when clothing utilizing the fiber are actually put on and washed. The filament is a sheath-core composite filament comprising a sheath of a fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer (A) and a core of a composition (B) comprising a conductive material which comprises a conductive metal oxide and a thermoplastic polyamide, having a core resistance of not more than 9.times.10.sup.10 .OMEGA./cm.multidot.filament, the composite filament maintaining a critical elongation--an elongation reached in the course of extending a composite filament at which the core resistance exceeds 1.times.10.sup.11 .OMEGA./cm.multidot.filament at a D.C. voltage of 1 kV--of at least 5% and a shrinkage in hot water at 100.degree. C. of not higher than 20%. Such fiber can be obtained by conducting high orientation melt spinning at a rate of at least 2,500 m/min while selecting a polyamide as the core component to contain the white or colorless conductive material and having the composition previously dried to a moisture content of 100 to 1,200 ppm.

    • A quad guideway endless linear motion guide unit includes a rail, a slider and a plurality of rolling members interposed between the rail and the slider. The slider includes a center block and a pair of end blocks fixedly attached to the ends of the center block. The rail has four inner guide surfaces and the center block has four outer guide surfaces, each located opposite to a corresponding one of the inner guide surfaces to thereby define a load path section. The center block is formed with four holes, in each of which a sleeve having a passage defining a return path section is fitted. Each of the end blocks is provided with four curved connecting path sections for connecting the corresponding ends of the load and return path sections to thereby define an endless circulating path. The sleeve has a profiled end which is complementary in structure to an associated end of a corresponding one of the curved connecting path sections of the end block.

    • An indefinite linear motion rolling contact guide unit generally includes a rail, a slider and a plurality of rolling members interposed between the rail and the slider. The rail includes a pair of inner upper and lower guide surfaces at each side. The slider includes a horizontal section and a pair of vertical sections each at each side of the horizontal section and each of the vertical sections is provided with a pair of first and second endless circulating paths, each of which includes a load path section, a return path section and a pair of curved connecting path sections. The return path section of the second endless circulating path is located higher in level and further away from the center line of the guide unit than the return path section of the first endless circulating path to thereby allow to provide a mounting hole between the return path section of the second endless circulating path and an inner side surface of the vertical section.
