摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a cyclon to separate dust and powder in gas which is capable of greatly reducing a pressure loss without reducing the trapping efficiency by a method wherein the gap between a discharge pipe and cylinder is made smaller in the direction of gas flow. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder section 11 extending vertically and having a reverse cone section at the lower part, a vertically extending inner cylinder 4b is arranged so that the center 13 of the cylinder 11 and the center 14 of the inner cylinder 4b are arranged eccentrically. The inner cylinder 4b is installed on a diameter line 26 perpendicular to an assumed diameter line 24 which passes through the center 13 of the cylinder 11 and is parallel to the tangential inlet direction 23 of the inlet duct 16, so that the center 14 of the inner cylinder 4b is away from the inlet opening 15. Gas from the inlet opening 15 is swirled along the gap 17 and flows down toward the axial direction of the cylinder 11. As a result, gas near the inner cylinder 4b is sequentially flowed into the inner cylinder 4b and the amount of swirling gas is reduced. Because the gap 17 is expanding from the minimum gap position 19 toward the inlet opening 15 along the swirling direction 18, the swirling energy of the gas decreases after it passes the minimum gap position 19 and results in a reduced pressure loss.
