CONSTITUTION:In a vertical shaft pump like a rainwater drainage pump in which air operation is performed, a spring member 8 is fixed in a holder 6 fixed to a rotary shaft 1, and a seal case 5 wherein a seal ring 3b is fixed is attached on the upper part of the spring member 8, so as to be energized upward by the spring member 8. A surface pressure adjusting member 4 made of materials whose coefficient of thermal expansion is large, and attached to the rotary shaft 1 is attached on the upper part of the seal case 5, so as to be axially moved freely in a state where the seal case 5 is pinched between the spring member 7 and the surface pressure adjusting member 4. Moreover a fixed side seal ring 3a is fixed and arranged to a housing 2 so as to be faced to the upper part of the seal ring 3b, so that a shaft sealing device is constituted by enclosing the whole by casings 10a, 10b.

    • PURPOSE:To control an air suction amount and further to adjust a delivery amount in accordance with a water level so as to contrive an efficient drainage and reduction of vibration by providing a water level meter, suction air pipe, adjusting valve and a controller as an intake air amount control device. CONSTITUTION:One end of a suction air pipe 4 is mounted to a suction bell 1 below an impeller further to provide a control valve 8 in the other end. On the other hand, a water level meter 6 is provided in a suction water tank to always feed a signal of detected water level to a controller 7. A relation between the water level and a suction air amount is input to the controller 7 thus to indicate an optimum opening of the control valve 8 in accordance with the water level. In this way, an effective drainage and reduction of vibration are attained by changing resistance of the suction air pipe to control a suction air amount and by adjusting a delivery amount in accordance with the water level. In a region of unstable suction air amount in the vicinity of starting suction of air, the control valve 8 is throttled so as to prevent a large amount of air from being sucked, and the reduction of vibration in the vicinity of the water level in starting air suction is attained.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress a vibration generated in a suction operation in which a water discharge operation is carried out while making an air suction, by providing dampers acting as a resistance to the water in a water suction tank to a pump casing positioned at the lower side than a suction port. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 5 linked to a suction pipe 6 is provided near the lower side of an impeller 1. And plural dampers are installed to a bell-mouth 3 positioned at the lower side from near the suction port 5. In this case, when the water level is lowered from the lowest water level (LWL), the air is started to absorb from the suction port 5, and a suction air operation condition that a mixture of the water and the air flows in to the impeller 1 is generated. In this case, the dampers 7 sunk under the water even at the LWL act as a resistance to the water, making the role of a damping member, and a damping effect is generated. As a result, even through an unbalance owing to the suction operation is increased a little, the vibration can be suppressed.

Hence, the gap between the impeller vane 1 top end part and the casing liner inner circumferential surface 10a is continuously changed according to the blade angle (blade opening degree) to regulate the performance so that the instability characteristic is not exhibited.

Said processing is carried out until the development of all character codes is completed, and the synthesized character can be stored in the character synthesizing area 9 without the mis-registration of the synthesized character.
