CONSTITUTION:The charge of the polarity reverse to that of the image forming medium 23 is generated. The destaticization means 21 not having a counter electrode is used. The destatization means 21 is installed in a position just after the transfer material 9 is peeled from a transferring/carrying belt 10, the opening part of the destaticization means 21 is installed so as to face the surface reverse to the surface of the transfer material 9 to which an unfixed image forming medium 23 is stuck. Further, the charge generating part of the destaticization means 21, for instance, a straight line connecting a wire with the peeling point of the transfer material 9 from the transferring/carrying belt 10 is not covered so that the charge generated by the destaticization means 21 is imparted to the rear side of the transfer material 9, to obtain the peeling point.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic printer where the miniaturization of the device is achieved and a jam which has conventionally occurred owing to the defective sparation of a transfer body between the paper guide and the toner transfer belt is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:The transfer belt 7 is held by being directly wrapped around a pressure roller 13 which is on the downstream side in the rotating direction of the transfer belt 7 for carrying a body 5 to be transfered and opposite a toner fixing roller 12. On the downstream side in the rotating direction of the transfer belt 7, the body 5 to be transfered on which a toner image 10 is transferred is directly sent between the fixing roller 12 and the pressure roller 13. By eliminating the need for a belt holdling roller, which has been conventionally provided in this part, and, in addition, a paper guide, etc., the miniaturization of the electrophotographic printer can be achieved. At the same time, by making the paper guide unnecessary, a jam which has conventionally occurred owing to the defective separation of the body to be transferred between the paper guide and the transfer belt can be eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the needs for a carrying path, which makes a detour around a fixing station and an inverting tray and to contrive miniaturization by providing the electrophotographic device with a paper reciprocally carrying means, which allows the paper to be moved reciprocally and the fixing station, which fixes recording information onto the paper, and also providing a carrying line, along which the paper is carried from the paper carry-in port side of the fixing station to a photosensitive body, with a paper returning means. CONSTITUTION:The paper 2 is carried to the photosensitive body 20 via the carrying line along which it is carried to the photosensitive body 20; recording information on the photosensitive body 20 is transferred on the first side of the paper 2; then, the paper 2 is carried from the paper carry-in port side of the fixing station 5 to the inside of the station 5, and fixing on the paper is carried out by a fixing machine. After the fixing is finished, the paper 2 is ejected from the paper carrying-in port side of the fixing station 5 by the paper reciprocally carrying means 40-42, and is returned to the carrying line by the returning means 43. At this time, the paper 2 is already inverted; when it is carried to the photosensitive body 20 again via the carrying line, recording information on the photosensitive body 20 is transferred on the second side of the paper 2. Thus, the needs for the carrying path, which makes a detour around the fixing station, and the inverting tray is eliminated and the miniaturization can be contrived.

    • PURPOSE:To surely detect the timing of flash light emission without using a shutter mechanism and to prevent mis-shot and failure in emission of a flash light by providing a recording paper detector so as to prevent direct projection of the flash light of a flash lamp thereto. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 5 is conveyed by a conveyance path 14 and an unfixed toner is adhered as an image on the surface thereof by a transfer device 7; thereafter, the paper is conveyed to the position right under a flash fixing device 1, where the flash light of the flash lamp 15 is projected toward the surface of the paper 5. The recording paper detector 4 in this case is installed in the position within the range nearer the paper feed side than the position right under the device 1 and nearer the paper feed side than a bent part Q. The flash light is, therefore, not directly projected to the detector and since the leak light of the flash light is shielded by the bent part Q, the light intensity thereof is considerably lowered. The direct incident flash light on the detector is thereby eliminated and in addition, the intensity of the leak flash light is weak; therefore, the failure and malfunction (wrong detection of recording paper) of the detector 4 are prevented and the mis-shot and failure in emission of the flash light are eliminated accordingly.
