    • Disclosed are a method and apparatus for automatically embedding information of an object in a video picked up by a camera device. A camera device generates imaging position information relating to an imaging position of the video, and view point information relating to the direction and range of the video taken from the imaging position. An object contained in the video taken by the camera device is searched in an object location managing server, based on object position information relating to the position of the predetermined object, and the imaging position information and the view point information generated by the camera device. The object information of the object hit in the object location managing server is searched in the object information managing server. The display presents an image corresponding to the video picked up by the camera device and an image corresponding to the object information of the object contained in the video.

    • Stationary objects are determined from objects detected by a radar device mounted on a vehicle. Objects detected with a dispersion in the level of the reception of a reflected wave at a relative distance in a range of 20 m to 100 m that is equal to or smaller than a first threshold value, are extracted from the extracted objects, and objects existing on a predicted course for the vehicle is extracted from the extracted objects. Further, it is determined if one of the extracted objects detected with rate of decrease in level of reception at a relative distance in a range of 10 m to 20 m is equal to or larger than a second threshold value and with a level of reception equal to or smaller than a third threshold value is an object which provides no hindrance even if the vehicle passes over the object. A warning or an automatic braking is discontinued or moderated based on the type of object. Thus, it is possible to precisely determine whether the object detected by the radar device mounted on the vehicle is an object particularly providing no hindrance even if the vehicle travels astride the object as it is, or whether it is an object the contact of the vehicle with which is required to be avoided, thereby carrying out a precise warning or automatic braking.

    • Endless printing belts with plural types of printing areas arranged on outer surfaces thereof are wound around printing support shafts and printing rotation members. Display rotation mechanisms have, arranged on outer surfaces thereof, display characters corresponding to printing characters in the printing areas arranged on the outer surfaces of the printing belts. A control member applies a torque to each printing rotation member or display rotation mechanism whereby the printing rotation member and display rotation mechanism rotate synchronously. As a result, printing surfaces of the printing areas are successively set to a printing position adjacent the printing support shaft, and display characters corresponding to the printing characters in the printing areas set to the printing position are successively set to a display position. The user may observe the display characters successively appearing in the display position to set display characters corresponding to desired printing characters. Then, the printing surfaces of the printing characters corresponding to the display characters are set to the printing position.
