    • The invention relates to a semitrailer train (1) comprising a towing vehicle (2), a semitrailer (3), and a fifthwheel (4) that is provided with a coupling element associated with the towing vehicle (2) and a coupling element (5) associated with the semitrailer (3), for mechanically connecting the towing vehicle (2) and the semitrailer (3). The towing vehicle (2) is provided with a control device (10) for controlling components (9) of the semitrailer (3), and the semitrailer (3) comprises data lines (17) for transmitting the control data, and power supply lines (16) for the power supply of the components (9). The coupling element associated with the towing vehicle (2) is embodied as a fifthwheel pick-up plate (5) and the coupling element associated with the semitrailer (3) is embodied as a kingpin (6) adapted thereto. According to the invention, the towing vehicle (2) is provided with an alternating voltage generator for producing a carrier signal, a signal modulator modulates the control data on the carrier signal, and a transmitter (7) is arranged in the fifthwheel pick-up plate (5) of the towing vehicle (2), for transmitting the carrier signal with the modulated control data to a transmitter (7, 8) in the region of the kingpin (6) of the semitrailer (3). A demodulator in the semitrailer (3) splits the total signal transmitted by inductive coupling into an energy-carrying power supply voltage and control data, the power supply voltage being provided for the power supply of a component (9) in the semitrailer (3).

    • The invention relates to a brake system for a vehicle that can be operated without a driver. Said system comprises a service brake device, a parking brake device and an emergency brake device. At least the wheel brake devices of the wheels of one axle of the vehicle dispose of emergency brake actuators that, due to the initiation of an emergency braking operation, switch the associated wheel brake devices into the braking state. The emergency braking operation can be initiated both manually by means of an emergency brake operating device as well as automatically by means of a monitoring device if the latter has determined an impermissible operating state of the vehicle during driverless operation.
