    • PURPOSE:To enable a multicolor recording of two or more colors with one type of ink by using a heat sublimating dye for at least one of colorants of three colors, i.e. Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta. CONSTITUTION:A fluid ink containing colorants of three colors, i.e. Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta, and using a heat sublimating dye for at least one of the colorants of three colors is held by an ink holding member, thereafter being heated in a pattern form by a thermal head etc. to obtain a tackiness; in this manner, the ink is transferred to a transfer medium to conduct an image recording. At this time, if the ink is heated to a temperature sufficient to obtain a tackiness but lower than the sublimating temperature of the sublimating dye, the dyes of three colors are transferred to the transfer medium as they are, and a black transfer recording image is formed by the mixture of the three colors. On the other hand, if the ink is heated to a temperature of not less than the sublimating temperature of the sublimating dye, the sublimating dye in the ink is sublimated and dissipated to change its color from Black to various colors such as Red, Blue, and Green, thus being transferred to the transfer medium to form a transfer recording image.

    • PURPOSE:To execute a distinct expression of a high definition color image and a repeated display and an erasion of a color image and an additional image by applying a position correcting signal to an adjusting means, based on information obtained from a detecting means for detecting a relative position of an information recording medium and an information recording means. CONSTITUTION:A relative misalignment generated between an information recording medium 14 and an information recording means 15 is detected by a detecting means 17, misalignment information from the detecting means 17 is inputted to a control means, and the control means outputs a position correcting signal for correcting the misalignment, based on said information. This position correcting signal is inputted to an adjusting means 16, as well, and the adjusting means 16 moves relatively positions of the information recording medium 14 and the information recording means 15 by said position correcting signal. Accordingly, the relative misalignment of the information recording medium 14 and the information recording means 15 is corrected prior to write. In such a way, a high definition image being free from a color shift and an image shift is displayed, and also, a repeated display and an erasion of a color image and an additional image can be executed.

    • PURPOSE:To intensify the scattering of light and to increase contrast so that an image having good visibility is obtd. with an image forming medium for which a high-polymer liquid crystal 1 is used by adding one kind of fluorescent agent into the high-polymer liquid crystal compsn. CONSTITUTION:The high-polymer liquid crystal into which the fluorescent agent 3 is incorporated is coated on a substrate 1 to form the high-polymer liquid crystal layer 2 which is a stable optical scattering film. The light projected to the high-polymer liquid crystal layer 2 is absorbed by the fluorescent brightening dye 3 in a scattering state 301 and the light having the wavelength longer than the wavelength of the absorbed light is emitted. The light which is not absorbed is scattered to form the scattered light. Namely, not only the scattered light but the individual fluorescent brightening dyes 3 emit light to improve the efficiency of scattering in the scattering state. On the other hand, the optical scattering film forms an amorphous state 302 and acts to transmit or scatter the light when said film is heated to the transparent point of the high-polymer liquid crystal or above. The scattering of the light is thereby intensified and the contrast is improved by the emitted light. The image having the good visibility is thus formed.
