摘要： The amplitude and phase errors of the modulation and demodulation in a transceiver are corrected by a self-calibration procedure in which a test signal is applied to the baseband input of the transmitter, and the output of the modulator is looped back to the input of the demodulator. The amplitude and phase errors of the resulting signal at the baseband output of the receiver are detected, and the contributions of the transmitter and receiver to the errors are separated and resolved into amplitude and phase components. Adjustments are then made to the amplitude and phase balance in the transmit and receive signal paths to correct the errors.

A first inflatable member is positioned on the outer surface of the shaft and is in communication with the first lumen. While a second inflatable member is also positioned on the outer surface of the shaft. The second inflatable, however, is longer than and completely covers the first inflatable member. Additionally, the second member is fabricated of a non-elastic material that limits the inflation of the second member to a predetermined maximum diameter of inflation. The device, also, has a control system which controls the fluids and/or gases that enter the lumens.

摘要： The present invention allows for remotely and securely configuring settings for targeted devices within a network with multiple security-trust boundaries. Configuration information is encoded in messages that are digitally signed to ensure the integrity of the configuration information and sent in accordance with a standard messaging transport protocol. By utilizing an already existing port of the standard messaging transport protocol, e.g., SMTP, the number of open ports for configuration purposes is minimized. Further, example embodiments take advantage of hidden fields, i.e., machine readable fields that contain metadata that by default are not presented at a client user interface, for encoding the configuration or command/control information within the messages. The present invention further provides for a central console module that can manage and report on the status of the configuration settings for a plurality of targeted devices that an authorized user or system administrator has attempted to remotely configure.

摘要： A hatch cover for deployment over a hatchway formed in a floating roof liquid storage tank permits rapid loading and unloading of inspection or maintenance equipment and minimizes vapor emissions from the tank. The portable hatch cover has two base plates movably connected at a hinge and each defining complementary recesses. A circular flange extends from the bottom surfaces of the base plates to seat the hatch cover in the hatchway. Two door panels are movably connected at hinges to the top surfaces of the base plates. When one or both of the door panels are opened, equipment may be loaded into the tank through the complementary recesses. When closed, the door panels cover the recesses in the base plates. Complementary notches in the door panels provide an opening through which equipment tubing or wiring may extend when the door panels are closed. A collar gasket optionally may be wrapped around the tubing or wiring as a further means to limit vapor emissions from the tank.

摘要： The invention provides a low density paperboard material and associated method for use in producing an insulated container, and is especially well-suited for making cups. The paperboard material comprises a paperboard web including wood fibers and expanded microspheres, and has a relatively low density ranging from about 6 to about 10 lb/3MSF/mil, a relatively high caliper ranging from about 24 to about 35 mil, and an internal bond strength of at least about 80×10−3 ft−lbf., preferably at least 100×10−3 lft−lbf. For applications such as cups the material is also coated on one or both sides with a barrier coating, preferably low density polyethylene, to limit liquid penetration into the web. The low density paperboard material of the invention is convertible for manufacture of containers, particularly cups, and exhibits insulative properties comparable to higher cost materials conventionally used to make cups. Also, the surface of the low density board may have a Sheffield smoothness of 300 SU or greater compared with the surface smoothness of 160 to 200 SU for conventional cupstock, the latter having been thought necessary for adequate print quality. However, it has been found that the low density board exhibits good printability on flexo printing machines despite its relatively rough surface, which is surprising and bonus effect realized along with the insulative and other properties of the board.

The laminate of the present invention includes a substrate, preferably of a paperboard, a layer of grease resistant material, such as polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polytetrafluoroethylene, or polyvinyl alcohol, etc., or nylon, a tie layer of low density polyethylene or linear low density polyethylene modified with maleic anhydride, and a food contact release layer comprising a blend of polypropylene and polymethylpentene. In the preferred embodiment, the grease resistant layer, the tie layer and the food contact release layer are coextruded onto a paperboard substrate.
