    • Disclosed is a communication apparatus using a millimeter wave frequency bandwidth and a communication method thereof. The communication apparatus includes a beam scheduling unit to perform scheduling of a uplink beam and a downlink beam corresponding to movement of a terminal; a core network interface unit to transmit data provided from the beam scheduling unit to a core network and to provide data received from the core network to the beam scheduling unit; a mobile manager to configure uplink and downlink beam groups based on interference information between a beam provided from the beam scheduling unit; and an interface unit between base stations to exchange a control message with other base stations under control of the mobile manager. Accordingly, a cellular network using the millimeter wave frequency bandwidth may be efficiently established.     • PURPOSE: A method for selecting transmission-reception antenna relay is provided to supply in order to reduce a feedback overhead created from a process of the feedback. CONSTITUTION: An antenna selection vector generator(320) produces 'a coefficient vector for selecting one of a plurality of transmission antennas' using a channel value. An antenna selection multiplier(330) multiplies the coefficient vector to a downlink signal especially received a plurality of receiving antennas. An adder(340) outputs one signal with adding the signals which the coefficient vector is multiplied. An amplifier outputs the outputted one signal with amplifying in order to transmit to a terminal belonging to a relay domain of a repeater.

    • An apparatus and a method for mapping a symbol are provided to symbol-map reliability of information bits and reliability of redundancy bits differently, thereby improving performance. A systematic encoder encodes transmission data(S410). An encoder outputs a plurality of information bits including added redundancy bits. A puncher punches an information bit and a redundancy bit(S420). The puncher punches only the redundancy bit except the information bit. An information interleaver interleaves the punched information bit. The redundancy interleaver interleaves a punched redundancy bit(S430). A symbol mapping device maps the interleaved information bit and the interleaved redundancy bit on symbols respectively(S440).
