    • PURPOSE:To keep the inside of a control equipment chamber at the atmospheric pressure and to protect invasion of wind and rain, insects and others by forming an air hole in the outer wall part of a gas meter and also by forming a plurality of pressure regulating chambers in the gas meter. CONSTITUTION:A downward air hole 7 as a pressure regulator is formed on the front wall 6 of a machine chamber 3 of a gas meter and a first pressure regulating chamber 9 is formed above the hole. A second pressure regulating chamber 10 is so formed above this chamber as to communicate therewith through an upward intermediate communication hole 8. On the left side of the pressure regulating chamber 10, a third pressure regulating chamber 11 is so formed as to communicate therewith through an intermediate communication hole 8 in the horizontal direction, and a fourth pressure regulating chamber 12 is so formed below this chamber as to communicate therewith through a downward intermediate communication hole 8. On the left side of the pressure regulating chamber 12, a fifth pressure regulating chamber 13 is so formed as to communicate therewith through the intermediate communication hole 8 in the horizontal direction, and a sixth pressure regulating chamber 14 is so formed above this chamber as to communicate therewith through the upward intermediate communication hole 8. An indoor open hole 15 is formed in to the shape of a groove in the horizontal direction from the pressure regulating chamber 14 and thereby a control equipment chamber 4 is made to communicate with the air. Since the inside of the equipment chamber 4 and the air are connected by the downward communication hole 8 and others, invasion of wind and rain and others is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a detachable flowmeter wherein a stabilized flow is obtained in a very small flow rate and its measuring performance is enhanced by a method wherein a nozzle-entrance flow-regulating wire gauze is attached to the outside of a nozzle entrance and a slit is formed between the wire gauze and the wall of a gas flow passage. CONSTITUTION:Turned-up fitting parts 11, 11a are formed on both sides of the lower end of a U-shaped nozzle-entrance flow-regulating wire gauze 10, the wire gauze is attached so as to surround a nozzle entrance 7, and slits 12, 12a are formed on both sides of the inner part of the wire gauze 10. Gas is first passed through a flow- passage flow-regulating wire gauze 16, and its flow-velocity distribution is made uniform. In addition, immediately before the gas enters the nozzle entrance 7, it is passed through the flow-regulating wire gauze 10, and its flow is regulated again. The gas enters a nozzle 6, it is spouted into a vibration generation chamber, and fluid vibrations are generated. When the flow rate of the gas becomes very small, the gas flows into the nozzle entrance 7 via slits 18, 18a in the wire gause 16 whose resistance is small and via the side of the slits 12, 12a in the wire gauze 10. As a result, the flow of the gas inside the nozzle 6 is stabilized, the gas is spouted into the vibration generation chamber, the vibrations of a fluid are stabilized, and the measuring accuracy of the flowmeter is enhanced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress the occurrence of unpleasant sounds in a membrane-type gas meter.
      SOLUTION: The membrane-type gas meter 1 is incorporated with a measurement membrane 7 in measurement chambers 5, 6 and converting the reciprocating motion of the measurement membrane 7 to the rotational motion of a wing axis 13 via a wing 12 from a hinge stand 10 and a hinge shaft 11, and performs measurement based on the rotational motion of the wing axis 13, and a sponge 20 is incorporated between the hinge stand 10 and the hinge shaft 11. Then, a light-weight rotational load is applied to the hinge shaft 11, thus resulting in preventing the measurement membrane 7 from rotating abruptly in reverse and hence preventing or significantly suppressing the occurrence of abnormal sounds.
