    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical recording medium capable of uniformizing hardening of an adhesive. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, first a substrate 8 is formed. A signal pit and a dummy pit are formed respectively in regions corresponding to a signal area 2 and a blank area 3 respectively of a surface as a signal surface 8b of the substrate 8. Then a substrate 12 is molded by an injection molding method and the like. At this time, a dummy signal pit and a dummy pit are formed respectively in regions corresponding to a dummy signal area 6 and a blank area 7 respectively of a surface as a dummy signal surface 12b of the substrate 12. Then, a reflecting film 9 and 10 are formed respectively on the signal surface 8b of the substrate 8 and the dummy surface 12b of the substrate 12 respectively. Then the reflecting film 9 of the substrate 8 and the reflecting film 10 of the substrate 12 are made to face each other and an adhesive is held therebetween. Then a side of a reading surface 8a of the substrate 8 and a side of a label printing surface 12a are irradiated with an ultraviolet ray to harden the adhesive.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of eccentricity between an output shaft and the information recording medium and moreover to prevent a slip at the time of rotating the information recording medium. SOLUTION: A supporting body 11 for the information recording medium 9 is fixed to the output shaft 18 of a drive means M, and a receiving member 10 for the information recording medium 9, having a slant part 11c to be abutted against a part forming a center hole in the information recording medium 9 is supported by an energizing means 13 and is slidably provided on the output shaft 18 of the drive means M, so as to support a 1st surface F1 of the information recording medium 9. By magnetically attracting the receiving member 10 by a clamp magnet 8 of an assembly 95, the receiving member 10 is slid on the output shaft 18 against force of the energizing means 13 to clamp the information recording medium 9 on the receiving member 10, and also the part 9b forming the center hole 9a of the information recording medium 9 is supported on the slant part 11c of the supporting body 11.
