    • An injector (10) includes a valve body (16), an armature tube (20) in the valve body, a seal disk (24) carried by the armature tube, a spring (30) associated with the seal disk, a seat (34) defining an outlet. The seat includes a seat surface (38) engaged with the seal disk that is biased by the spring, when the injector is in a closed position, preventing fuel from exiting the outlet. A movable armature (42) is coupled to an end of the armature tube. An adjusting tube (48) engages an end of the spring. An inlet tube (50) defining an inlet has an end surface that is spaced from the periphery of the armature in the closed position. An electromagnetic coil (58) is disposed about a portion of the inlet tube. A flux member (60) is associated with the coil. A housing (62) covers at least a portion of coil.

    • A direct fuel injector (10) includes a body (12) having a passage between inlet and outlet ends. A seat (16) is at the outlet end and a closure member (28) is associated with the seat. A needle member (30) is associated with the closure member and is movable with respect to a pole piece (35) between a first, closed position and a second, open position. A spring (42) biases the needle member to the first position. An armature (32) is free-floating with respect to the needle member. An intermediate pole structure (38) is coupled with the needle member and is disposed between the pole piece and the armature and is decoupled there-from. An armature stop (40) is coupled to the needle member and is spaced from the intermediate pole structure. An electromagnetic coil (46) is associated with the pole piece, intermediate pole structure and armature. The injector reduces bounce of the needle assembly.

    • A pressure regulator (10) includes a fuel tube (30) having an inlet end (35), an outlet end (180), and a fuel chamber (40). The outlet end defines a valve seat (70). A valve element (80) engages the valve seat in a closed position to prohibit flow of fuel from the inlet end to the outlet end. The valve element moves to an open position when pressurized fuel builds in the fuel chamber. A valve biasing member (90) biases the valve element towards the valve seat in opposition to the pressurized fuel in the fuel chamber. The fuel tube includes pressure differential creating structure (170) at the outlet end thereof to create a pressure differential around the valve element and cause unbalanced fuel flow at the outlet end to promote the valve element to move towards a certain location at the outlet end when the valve element moves to the open position.
