    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shade block mounting structure of a revetment sheet pile for easily, safely and inexpensively performing shade block installation and construction work in a short construction period only by work for filling a limited quantity of mortar, by abolishing a construction method for placing a large quantity of concrete at a job site in a conventional shade block cavity.
      SOLUTION: In this shade block mounting structure, a shade block 4 is provided with a fitting groove 6 having the depth substantially equal to a shade block insertion margin 2e of the upper end of the revetment sheet pile 2 and opening on a shade block under surface and both end surfaces having a shape similar to an end surface shape of the sheet pile 2; the insertion margin 2e is set by allowing an upper end surface 2c of the insertion margin 2e inserted into the groove 6 to abut on an upper bottom surface of the groove 6; the shade block 4 is communicated with the other groove 6 by forming a support part for receiving a cargo on the sheet pile 2; mortar is injected into the groove 6 via an injection port 7 by arranging the injection port 7 opening on an upper surface of the shade block 4; the insertion margin 2e is joined to a front inside surface 6a and a rear inside surface 6b; and the shade block 4 is mounted on the upper end of the sheet pile 2.
