摘要： Pistons are accommodated in each cylinder bores of a variable displacement compressor. A swash plate is coupled to the piston for converting rotation of the drive shaft to reciprocation of the pistons. A thrust bearing located between a rotor and a housing of the compressor. The outermost load-bearing points of the thrust bearing are radially farther from the axis of the drive shaft than the axes of the pistons. This permits the thrust bearing to directly receive a reaction forces from the pistons through the rotor without applying a moment to the bearing.

摘要： A compressor has a refrigerant gas passage selectively connected to and disconnected from a refrigerant circuit separately provided from the compressor. The compressor has a plurality of pistons reciprocable in a housing for compressing refrigerant gas. A drive shaft is rotatably supported by the housing. A swash plate is supported on the drive shaft for integral rotation with inclining motion with respect to the drive shaft to drive the pistons. The swash plate is movable between a maximum inclined angle and a minimum inclined angle. A disconnecting member disconnects the refrigerant circuit from the refrigerant gas passage when the swash plate is at the minimum inclined angle. A bleed hole bleeds the refrigerant gas from the refrigerant gas passage to the refrigerant circuit to suppress rapid increase of the inclined angle when the disconnecting member operates.

The variable capacity compressor, comprises: an intake seal, a crank seal and a discharge seal; a discharge outlet connected to said discharge seal and mounted to a discharge passage; and a check valve which opens and closes the discharge passage based on the pressure differentials in the intake seal, crank seal and discharge seal. Accordingly, the differential, between the check valve inlet and outlet pressures and the discharge pressure at the exit, are minimized by allowing the pressures of intake and crank seals to act upon the far-side of the valve body such that the pressure in the direction opposite to the discharge seal, is reduced.
