    • A video crane game including a display device, such as a video screen, for displaying images. A mechanical crane-like device provided over the display device includes an x-y assembly for allowing a player to control the movement of a selection head in an x-y plane. A z-movement device causes the selection head to move in a z-direction toward and away from the images of the display device. A sensor detects a location of the selection head with respect to the images displayed on the display device when the head is moved just above or contacts the display. A game controller controls the display of the images and determines a game outcome based on the location of the selection head with respect to the displayed images. The displayed images may include multiple selectable image targets, such as prize images associated with a prize, penalty areas, or images associated with a point score. A dispenser dispensing an award to a player of the game apparatus, such as tickets or prizes.

    • In a boxing game where two opposed doll boxers are movably mounted on a support surface, each boxer having swingable arms and a punch-received indicator, an improved game is provided, wherein electric and/or computer control means operate at least one boxer as to body movement and arm movements against the other boxer. In one embodiment of the invention, two players compete with opposing boxers by indirect electric controls e.g. two joy sticks. In a second embodiment of the invention, a player with direct manual control of his boxer competes against a boxer guided by a computer, which senses the opposing boxers body moves and punches and directs its boxer in counter body moves and punches. In the third embodiment a player indirectly guides his boxer by a joy stick, mouse, or other electric control against a computer, which senses the moves of e.g. the joy stick and arm swing buttons and guides its boxer in counter body moves and punches.

    • An amusement device in which a player controls positioning of a mechanical pick-up device such as a claw having pincers or fingers which can be closed over an object to be retrieved. The grasping claw is positioned within a housing on the floor of which various objects are placed for retrieval by players. The claw is attached to an overhead transport mechanism which is driven by various external controls to position the claw anywhere in the housing. Once a chosen position over an object is reached the claw is lowered automatically and can be stopped and closed by the player in an attempt to grasp the object. when the claw is closed it is automatically raised back to its uppermost position and returned to a home position over a chute for delivering any retrieved object to the player.

    • PURPOSE: A game regulator for mobile terminals is provided to control services provided to a mobile terminal. The game regulator is connected to the mobile terminal so that the user can conveniently use a game without the necessity of any power supply. CONSTITUTION: A game regulator is composed of a main body, a signal generation part(1), a latch buffer(2), a control unit(4), and a serial connection unit(5). The signal generation part(1), comprised of a handle(11), a terminal array(12) and a trigger button(13), generates an electrical signal. The latch buffer(2) converts the electrical signal into a digital signal and stores it. The control unit(4), having a serial converter and a memory, stores the digital signal transferred from the latch buffer(2) and transfers it to a mobile terminal(8) in a serial method. The serial connection unit(5), connected to the control unit(4), is connected with the communication port of the mobile terminal(8).
