    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for obtaining physiological data related to left ventricular end-diastolic pressure. SOLUTION: A system for administering a therapeutic treatment includes: a pressure sensor which is positioned in a pulmonary artery 22 and collects data which represents at least one of systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse pressure, heart rate or pre-ejection period on the basis of pressure in the pulmonary artery; an implantable medical device 32 located remotely from the sensor; a control module 42 which is operatively coupled to the implantable medical device; and a communication means 46 for transmitting pressure data from the pressure sensor to the control module. In the system, the control module links at least one of systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse pressure, heart rate or pre-ejection period to a pre-programmed value, and adjusts an operating parameter of the implantable medical device based on at least one relation of systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse pressure, heart rate or pre-ejection period to the pre-programmed value, and this process is repeated until the relation is such that no adjustment is necessary.
