摘要： In a flexible wiring board for use in, for example, a liquid discharge head, wires disposed on a substrate in parallel are covered with a film material. The flexible wiring board is bendable towards one of a front surface side and a back surface side of the substrate and includes a bending line. The bending line is formed by bending the flexible wiring board along a bending direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the wires. The bending line contains the wires. Both ends of the flexible wiring board in the bending direction are located on the bending line. A distance between one of the wires located closest to one end of the flexible wiring board and the one end is larger on the bending line than in another part of the flexible wiring board. Accordingly, even if the flexible wiring board is bent at a small bend radius, peeling does not easily occur between a base film and a cover film.

摘要： The present invention provides a storing structure for storing an ink jet head comprising a nozzle communicated with an opening for discharging liquid, a liquid storing portion for storing the liquid to be supplied to the nozzle, and a liquid introduction portion for introducing the liquid into the liquid storing portion from exterior, wherein, in the ink jet head, air is housed in the liquid storing portion and the liquid is contained at least in the nozzle, and a cap unit including an elastic cap for covering an area of the opening and a liquid absorbing member disposed in the elastic cap is closely contacted with and attached, around the opening, to a face in which the opening is formed, and the liquid introduction portion is communicated with atmosphere at least when inner pressure of the liquid storing portion is increased, thereby maintaining a space within the cap unit to a wetting condition.

摘要： A liquid jet recording head packing method can effectively suppress the problem of leakage of liquid from a liquid jet recording head due to expansion of the liquid and/or the gas in the liquid chamber when the liquid jet recording head that is provided with a chamber for containing liquid is packed and subsequently subjected to abrupt changes in the environment. The liquid jet recording head comprises a head chip provided with nozzles for ejecting liquid and a frame having a second common liquid chamber for storing liquid to be supplied to the head chip. A joint rubber member is forcibly driven into each of a number of holes arranged in part of the frame and a pipe member is driven into the fissure hole of each of the joint rubber members in order to keep the inside of the second common liquid chamber in a state where it communicates to a peripheral area of the liquid jet recording head by way of the joint rubber members.

The dispersed print elements are changed a predetermined period of time after the driving, and the changed print elements are driven. This driving operation is repeatedly executed for all the print elements of the printhead to print an image corresponding to the image signal.
