    • A light is emitted from a light emitting element toward the other surface in a thickness direction of a scanning mirror which can be angularly displaced about an axial line. At least either one of a first light receiving portion and a second light receiving portion receives a light which is emitted from the light emitting element and reflected by a reflecting mirror. The first light receiving portion, the second light receiving portion, and the signal output section produce an electronic signal containing position information which indicates a position which is irradiated with the above-mentioned light. This position information indicates an amount of angular displacement of the scanning mirror. On the basis of this position information, a driving section scans the scanning mirror so that the predetermined irradiation position can be irradiated with a light emitted from a first light source.

    • An operator cab 53, which is mounted rotatable on the vehicle body 51 of a hydraulic mini-shovel 50, comprises a cab box 1, a door 2, upper and lower link members 3 and 4, a slide member 6, a closed door lock 7, an opened door lock 9 and a handle 13.     • Memory resources are effectively utilized by visually setting an external memory resource as an internal memory resource. A first storage controller has a multilayer memory hierarchy constructed by LDEV (logical device) connected from LUN, and VDEV (virtual device) connected to the lower order of the LDEV. At least one of the VDEVs is constructed by mapping the memory resources arranged in external storage controllers. The functions of a stripe, RAID, etc. can be added in the mapping.     • In a storage system for performing data backup using a battery during blackout, when the blackout continues for a long time, problems such as the loss of volatile memory data due to the consumption of battery capacity and the difference in recovery time between controller units after power recovery occur during restarting of the system. The present invention solves the problems by selecting (a1) battery backup or (a2) saving of data in a nonvolatile device based on the battery capacity or setting of modes, and selecting (b1) inhibiting restart of the system or (b2) storing of data in the volatile memory to a nonvolatile memory means and performing access via write-through based on the remaining capacity of the battery when restarting the system after power recovery. Further, the system enables to increase and decrease the volatile memory capacity of the write area and mutually confirms synchronization of controller units and contents of volatile memories. Thereby, the system enables to prevent data loss and inconsistency of data.
