摘要： A content recording/reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing a content in accordance with the scheduled viewing time of a user without any interruption in the middle. A recording/reproducing apparatus (1) records reproduction time information indicating time required for the reproduction of each content to be accumulated in a accumulating portion (15) and records a content to be partially viewed out of the contents accumulated in the accumulating portion (15) and a part to be viewed out of the content as partial viewing information (for example, information unviewed or to be reviewed) on the accumulating portion (15). A time specifying portion (11) allows the user to set viewing time indicating the desired number of hours to view the content. A program selecting portion (14) extracts a reproduction content candidate so as to fall within the set viewing time by referencing to the reproduction time information and the partial viewing information from the content accumulated in the accumulating portion (15) and generates a list of the reproduction.

摘要： A control information decoding section (102) decodes sets of control information contained in a stream. Further, a random access information analyzing section (101) carries out analysis of locations of random access points of media items contained in the stream, on the basis of the sets of control information. Still further, a management information generating section (103) generates management information for managing a plurality of random access points contained in the stream, on the basis of decoded versions of the sets of control information, which has been obtained by the control information decoding section (102), and the locations of the random access points obtained by the analysis performed by the random access information analyzing section (101). Then, the management information thus generated and the stream are recorded onto a storage medium (104). This makes it possible to quickly start playback in performing random-access playback of a stream into which control signals are inserted at regular intervals.

The coding device according to the present invention includes a branching layer discriminating portion for identifying a hierarchical layer in which a leaf or node and a preceding leaf or node are separately branched and a position information coding portion for outputting a code corresponding to the identified hierarchical layer as a position information code for the leaf or node. Namely, merely information indicating a hierarchical layer in which a current leaf or node and a preceding leaf or node are separately branched is encoded as the position information of the leaf or node, thus increasing the efficiency of encoding leaf or node positions in the tree-structured information.

摘要： A golf swing training tool including an arm band (which connects the elbows) and the club shaft are connected by a cord maintain a prescribed grip angle. The arm band is configured to adjust a distance between the elbows. An elastic clip locks onto the club shaft and is configured to encircle the club shaft, and enables easy changing of the grip angle by using an opening lever to change the locking point with a single touch. As a result, frequent changes in grip angle can be made much more easily. Three types of cords are employed, a low-elasticity cord, a high-elasticity cord, and a cord combining both are used to achieve twelve different types of training methods.
