摘要： A magnetostriction-type torque sensor has a rotating shaft having magnetostrictive properties and first and second coils which each constitute three or more closed loops. For each coil, the closed loop is disposed in a concentric relationship (a concentric circle located on a plane perpendicular to the rotating shaft) with the rotating shaft. Further, the direction of magnetostrictive properties of the rotating shaft detected by the first coil is made different from the direction of magnetostrictive properties of the rotating shaft detected by the second coil.

摘要： It is desired to design a coreless motor in which a gap size is set to be as small as possible, and a magnet having a large energy product is used in order to increase the gap magnetic flux density since the coreless motor has no iron core so that the magnetic flux density is small in the gap part. A rotor core of the motor has a permanent magnet rotor which is formed by a compression molding means, and which is formed of a compact formed by molding a powder material, the compact comprising a bond magnetic portion mainly composed of a binder and a magnetic powder, and a soft magnetic portion mainly composed of a binder and a soft magnetic powder, the bond magnetic portion having magnetic poles having at least one surface which is mechanically bonded to the soft magnetic portion, in order to solve the inherent problems.

摘要： A power controller for a vehicle can operate electrical load upon stopping of engine or turning OFF of a key switch, without lowering of remaining capacity of a main battery. The control system has a control portion controlling operation of a power generator and an electrical load mounted on an automotive vehicle. The control system also includes remaining capacity measuring means for measuring a remaining capacity of a battery. The control portion energizes a predetermined power load when an engine is stopped or a key switch is held OFF, and operation of the power load is stopped when a remaining capacity of the battery measured by the remaining capacity measuring means becomes smaller than a predetermined value.

摘要： In order to reduce undesired sound caused by circular ring oscillation in the diametric direction of the stator by an electromagnetic force, electromagnetic force drift memory stores a drift information of the electromagnetic force causing the circular ring oscillation of the stator. This electromagnetic force drift information is read out according to the position information &thgr; and is supplied to a correction coefficient generating circuitry. Correction coefficient generating circuitry corrects the amplitude component of the activation current wave from by forming correction coefficient &bgr; (t) of the activation current so as to cancel the electromagnetic force harmonic component in the diametric direction which component is the component of the circular ring oscillation of the stator.

The vehicle, which uses the transmission, can be operated in a high engine efficiency region while keeping an electrical energy loss to a minimum.
