    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded article of higher accuracy by reducing the adhesion force of a cavity piece and a resin, in a manufacturing method for the molded article (optical element) forming a gap between the cavity piece constituting a surface other than a transfer surface and the resin during a period when the molten resin is infected and charged in a mold to be cooled under a softening temperature.
      SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, a pair of molds having surfaces for demarcating a cavity are used, the molten resin is injected and charged in the mold held to a temperature below the softening temperature of the resin, the pressure of the resin is generated to bring the transfer surface into close contact with the resin, and the resin is cooled under the softening temperature to form the gap between the wall surface forming a surface other than the transfer surface and the resin surface. A heat-resistant film material not melted within the resin softening temperature region is inserted in the gap between the wall surface and the cavity, the molten resin heated to the softening temperature region is injected in the cavity to fill the cavity, the pressure of the resin is generated to bring the resin into close contact with the transfer surface, the gap is formed between the film material and the wall surface of the cavity, the resin is cooled under the softening temperature, and the molded article is ejected after mold opening.
