摘要： A graft copolymer is provided that is useful as an adhesive composition that is excellent in adhesion strength between polyolefins and between a polyolefin and another member (for example, a metal, a resin, and an inorganic material, such as glass), is excellent in flowabilityat a low temperature and in melting property in a low temperature range, and is excellent in heat resistance after adhesion, i.e., a graft copolymer satisfying the following items (a) to (e): the graft copolymer having; (a) a main chain that is derived from one kind or two or more kinds of monomers selected from (I) acrylic acid and a derivative thereof, (II) methacrylic acid and a derivative thereof, (III) a vinyl ester and a derivative thereof, (IV) styrene and a derivative thereof and (V) a vinyl group-containing silane compound, at least one kind of the a monomer having a crosslinkable functional group, (b) a side chain that is derived from a reactive polyolefin having a meso pentad fraction (mmmm) of from 30 to 80% by mol and having an end unsaturated group in an amount of from 0.5 to 1.0 group per one molecule, the reactive polyolefin being a homopolymer of one kind of an ±-olefin having from 3 to 28 carbon atoms, a copolymer of two or more kinds of ±-olefins having from 3 to 28 carbon atoms, or a copolymer of 50% by mass or more of at least one of an ±-olefin having from 3 to 28 carbon atoms and 50% by mass or less of ethylene, (c) a graft ratio of from 1 to 150% by mass, (d) a weight average molecular weight of from 500 to 400,000 measured by GPC, and (e) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of from 1.5 to 4.

摘要： Ethylene copolymers derived from ethylene and C3-C20 olefins, which do not contain quaternary carbon in the main chain and have an activation energy (Ea) of melt flow of 8-20 kcal/mol, and wherein (1) the Huggins constant (k1) of the copolymer and the Huggins constant (k2) of a linear ethylene polymer, both having the same limiting viscosities, satisfy the relationship of the formula: 1.12 0.5 + 0.125 x log Mw. These ethylene copolymers are different from ordinary HDPE, L-LDPE and LDPE, and are characterized in that they are excellent in processability and capable of the control of various properties, such as density, melting point and crystallinity.

摘要： According to the present invention, an aqueous dispersion containing a graft copolymer satisfying (a) to (e) shown below and water is provided, and it is an aqueous dispersion containing a graft copolymer which shows an excellent dispersibility even in a state of reducing a surfactant and which is excellent in an affinity with a binder resin, a pigment and the like: (a) a graft rate is 1 to 150 % by mass, (b) a weight average molecular weight measured by GPC is 500 to 400000, (c) a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) is 1.5 to 4, (d) a main chain is a polymerization chain containing a monomer unit having a hydrophilic group and (e) a side chain is a homopolymerization chain of a single kind or a copolymerization chain of two or more kinds selected from ±-olefins having 3 to 28 carbon atoms or a copolymerization chain comprising an ±-olefin unit having 3 to 28 carbon atoms and an ethylene unit which accounts for 50 % by mass or less, wherein a mesopentad ratio [mmmm] of the polymerization chain is 30 to 80 mole %.

These polyethylenes are different from ordinary HDPE, L-LDPE and LDPE, and are characterized in that they are excellent in processability and capable of the control of various properties, such as density, melting point and crystallinity, mainly by polyethylene itself.

摘要： A propylene block copolymer composed of 50-95 wt.% of a specified propylene polymer block (A) comprising either propylene units only or a combination of propylene units with at most 4 wt.% of C2-C8 olefin units and 50-5 wt.% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer block (B) containing 20-90 wt.% of ethylene units, wherein at least either block (A) or block (B) contains 0.001-15.0 wt.% of diolefinic units and which has a reduced viscosity of 0.01-30 dl/g in 0.05 g/dl of decalin at 135 °C; a process for producing the same; and a product of hydrogenation thereof and a modified copolymer produced by introducing functional groups into at least 5 mole % of the unsaturations of the above block copolymer. The above block copolymer is suppressed in gel formation, has an excellent balance between rigidity and impact resistance and a good moldability, and contains unsaturations available for modification. The above modified copolymer is rich in adhesion, printability, hydrophilicity, capability of polymer modification, antistatic effect, and flame retardancy.
