    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine in which a grease tray member is made to have a tiltable structure so that waste grease can be recovered easily and surely even when the injection molding machine has no space enough to pull out the grease tray member.SOLUTION: A mold clamping unit 1 on a machine base 3 includes a fixed plate 4 arranged fixedly on the machine base 3, a pressure receiving plate 6 and a movable plate 5. The pressure receiving plate 6 includes: an electric servomotor 8; a ball screw mechanism 9 which is used for converting rotary motion into linear motion and includes a nut and a screw shaft; and a toggle link mechanism 10 to which the axial-direction driving force of the ball screw mechanism is transmitted through a crosshead 11 and which drives the movable plate to be moved forward or backward. The grease tray member 12 is disposed in the machine base in the lower part of an upper frame part including an upper frame longitudinal member 13 and an upper frame lateral member 14 and below the toggle link mechanism of the mold clamping unit and below the movable part of the movable plate 5. The grease tray member can be turned around the central axis engaged with a metal plate 17 from a horizontal state thereof to a position of another metal plate 18, which position is set as a limit.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety door which is low-cost, lower in load and safer. SOLUTION: An operation-side safety door 10a having a ceiling part and a non-operation-side safety door 10b are arranged in the mold clamping section. The safety doors 10a and 10b come in contact with each other in contact sections 18a and 18b. The non-operation-side safety door 10b has an engaging member 11 tumbling with a guide member 12. The engaging member 11 has a bending hinge member 11d on the other side. When the safety doors 10a and 10b a closed (state (a)), the open-side safety door 10a can be opened and closed freely and independently (see (a) and (b)). When the non-operation-side safety door 10b is opened, the safety doors 10a and 10b are engaged together through the engaging member 11 and moved (see (c) and (d)). In a state (e), when the operation-side safety door 10a is moved to the closing side, the hinge member 11d is bent, and the safety doors 10a and 10b are engaged together.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine having an oil feeder constituted so as to be capable of discriminating even the abnormality of an oil feed system at every oil feed place.
      SOLUTION: The oil from an oil tank 11 is fed to parallel distributors 14-1 and 14-2 and an advance distributor 15 through a changeover valve 13 by driving a pump 12 and successively fed to each of oil feed places by the parallel distributors 14-1 and 14-2 and the advance distributor 15. The pressure of the oil at the discharge port of the pump is detected by a pressure sensor 16 and stored in a memory/arithmetic unit 17. The waveform of the detected oil pressure when the oil is fed normally is stored as reference data and the time region corresponding to the oil feed place is measured to be set and stored. Further, a monitoring width is also preset. The reference data and the waveform of the detected oil pressure detected thereafter are displayed on a display/input device 18. When the waveform of the detected oil pressure is deviated from the monitoring width and abnormal, an abnormal oil feed place is calculated based on the set time region. Oil feed abnoramlity can be detected along with the abnormal oil feed place, and repairing and restoration become easy.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service life of a ball screw while restricting the fatigue of a ball screw. SOLUTION: This ball screw has three or more ball trains 4a, 4b, 4c respectively formed of a set of balls 3 circulating around a screw shaft 1. In the ball trains 4a, 4b, 4c arranged in series, ball diameter of the ball trains 4a, 4b in both ends is formed smaller than the ball diameter of the ball train 4b at a central part. In the case where diameter of the balls 3 in each ball train is formed same with each other, load distribution in both ends of a nut 2 becomes high because of the force to be applied in the axial direction of a screw shaft 1, and the stress becomes uneven. This unevenness of the stress and the unevenness of the load are relaxed by reducing the ball diameter of the ball trains 4a, 4c in both ends. With this structure, concentration of the stress is relaxed so as to delay the breakdown of a screw shaft and a nut due to the fatigue by the use for a long time, and service life of the ball screw is prolonged.
