In one embodiment, a system includes an elongated container body, a first endcap, a second endcap, at least one connector, and a bias member. The elongated container body has a central first axis, an internal storage space, a first end, and a second end. The elongated container body fits within a toilet paper roll. The first endcap is coupled to the first end of the elongated container body. The second endcap is coupled to the second end of the elongated container body. The second endcap includes an access lid to provide access to the internal storage space. The at least one connector is to secure the system relative to a mounting location on a second axis. The bias member is on a third axis. The bias member is coupled between the at least one connector and the elongated container body.

    • Processes, systems, devices, and articles of manufacture are provided. Each may include adapting micro-inverters initially configured for frame-mounting to mounting on a frameless solar panel. This securement may include using an adaptive clamp or several adaptive clamps secured to a micro-inverter or its components, and using compressive forces applied directly to the solar panel to secure the adaptive clamp and the components to the solar panel. The clamps can also include compressive spacers and safeties for managing the compressive forces exerted on the solar panels. Friction zones may also be used for managing slipping between the clamp and the solar panel during or after installation. Adjustments to the clamps may be carried out through various means and by changing the physical size of the clamps themselves.

    • A novel strategy for monitoring the location of a transgene in a mammal is disclosed. A sodium iodide symporter is genetically fused to either the N-terminus or C-terminus of the product of a transgene through a linker peptide which bears the recognition sequence of a host cell protease. Expression of the transgene confers the activity of the sodium iodide symporter (NIS) to a host cell which expresses the transgene. Subsequent administration of labeled iodine results in transport of the labeled iodine into the cell bearing the NIS, which can then be localized and measured using standard imaging techniques. The system is particularly useful for monitoring the location of therapeutic transgenes and tissue-specific distribution of the therapeutic gene product.
