The one or more slit-tube longerons and the one or more flat sheets may be stowed by rolling the one or more slit-tube longerons and the one or more flat sheets together into a roll. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the one or more slit-tube longerons may be exposed when stowed. In another embodiment, the one or more slit-tube longerons may be manufactured from a shape memory material. These slit-tube longerons unroll into to a straight configuration when exposed to heat.

Thereafter, the advance EIC portion of the taxpayer's net pay may be automatically extracted from the net pay direct deposited onto the debit card and conveniently transferred into an associated sub-account (also referred to as a savings pocket or purse). Through the present debit card and associated sub-account program, and the accumulated advance EIC payments thereof, taxpayers may qualify to receive various benefits, including, without limitation, interest accumulation on sub-account balances, credit card issuance with overdraft protection, loan eligibility, and credit history development.

摘要： A method for continuously removing mercury from a supply of combustion gas is provided. The method includes adjusting a power input to an electrostatic precipitator to control a quantity of fly ash emitted from the electrostatic precipitator. A turbulent flow of combustion gas is produced to suspend particulate matter including the quantity of fly ash contained in the supply of combustion gas. A substantial portion of the mercury is absorbed within the particulate matter including the quantity of fly ash. The supply of combustion gas is filtered to remove the particulate matter from the mercury. A quantity of absorption sites available for absorbing mercury is controlled by monitoring an emission of fly ash from the electrostatic precipitator.

摘要： The present disclosure addressed apparatus and methods for forming an annular isolator in a borehole after installation of production tubing. Annular seal means are carried in or on production tubing as it is run into a borehole. In conjunction with expansion of the tubing, the seal is deployed to form an annular isolator. An inflatable element carried on the tubing may be inflated with a fluid carried in the tubing and forced into the inflatable element during expansion of the tubing. Reactive chemicals may be carried in the tubing and injected into the annulus to react with each other and ambient fluids to increase in volume and harden into an annular seal. An elastomeric sleeve, ring or band carried on the tubing may be expanded into contact with a borehole wall and may have its radial dimension increased in conjunction with tubing expansion to form an annular isolator.

摘要： An optical transmitter comprises an array of modulated sources having different operating wavelengths approximating a standardized wavelength grid and providing signal outputs of different wavelengths. Signal outputs of the modulated sources are optically coupled to inputs of the wavelength selective combiner to produce a combined signal output from the combiner. The wavelength selective combiner has a wavelength grid passband response approximating the wavelength grid of the standardized wavelength grid. A first wavelength tuning element is coupled to each of the modulated sources and a second wavelength tuning element is coupled to the wavelength selective combiner. A wavelength monitoring unit is coupled to receive a sampled portion the combined signal output from the wavelength selective combiner. A wavelength control system is coupled to the first and second wavelength tuning elements and to the wavelength monitoring unit to receive the sampled portion of the combined signal output. The wavelength control system adjusts the respective wavelengths of operation of the modulated sources to approximate the standardized wavelength grid and for adjusting the optical combiner wavelength grid passband response to approximate the standardized wavelength grid.
