The toothbrush head (1) also includes a bristle carrier (11) from which bristles (15) project in the direction of a bristle-carrier axis (14). The bristle carrier (11) is mounted on a mounting pin (21) so that it is rotated about a perpendicular axis (19). The angle between the bristle-carrier axis (14) and the perpendicular axis (19) is given by an angle (28) subtented at a point (29), this angle being produced, in particular, by a wedge-type disc. When the electric toothbrush is switched on, the bristle carrier (11) executes a nutational motion about the perpendicular axis (19). This causes the far ends of the bristles (15) to execute a circular reciprocating or thrusting motion, thus resulting in improved cleaning of the user's teeth.

摘要： Foodstuff mixers or grinders are known having a working shaft (1) mounted in a housing (2) in the area of its driving end (6). The opposite end (5) (only partially shown) may be coupled to the driving engine of a kitchen machine. In the area of its driven end (6), the working shaft (1) is centrally mounted in a bearing sleeve (7) and a working part (8) is secured to the driven end (6). In the area of the driven end (6) of the working shaft (1), the housing (2) ends in a flared bell-shaped casing (3). The inner space of the bell-shaped casing (2) is separated from the inner space (4) of the housing (2) by a partition (13) with a bore (29) through which the driven end (6) extends outward. The sealing ring (18) is joined in a single piece to the top section of the sealing member (10) by a bell-shaped sealing element (20). At the same time, the sealing member (10) elastically centres the bearing sleeve (7). The working shaft (1) is thus elastically mounted at its driven end (6) and is capable of absorbing possible radial deflections without adversely affecting liquid-tightness. In addition, this arrangement makes mounting easier and reduces production costs.
