    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion testing method and a corrosion testing system suitable for evaluating corrosion resistance of electric wires with a terminal used under an environment in which corrosion relatively gradually advances. SOLUTION: In the corrosion testing method, a pair of samples 1 in which a terminal member 11 is mounted to an end part of an electric wire 10 provide with an insulating layer 10i on the outer circumference of a conductor 10c are prepared, and the terminal member 11 of each sample 1 is separated, arranged, and immersed in a fluid 5 containing an electrolyte. With this state maintained, a constant current is passed through the samples 1 by a power supply device 3. A leak current is passed between both terminal members 11 by this passage of electricity via the fluid 5 interposed between the terminal members 11. The leak current corrodes the terminal members 11. The passage of electricity is performed within such a time range that a current value is below 0.19 mA/mm 2 , and an electric charge is equal to 20 C/mm 2 or below to an exposed area of each terminal member 11.       SOLUTION: The electrolytic treatment equipment has a plurality of pipe-like electrodes 10 the inner sides of which constitute electrolytic treating liquid chambers, a supply mechanism which supplies electrolytic treating liquid into the electrolytic treating liquid chambers and a traveling mechanism which allows the wire to travel in the electrodes. The respective pipe-like electrodes 10 are connected to each other by joint sections 20 made of insulators. The joint sections are internally provided with shielding plates 29 made of the insulators to limit the flow of the electrolytic treating liquid between the adjacent electrodes.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy wire suitable for the raw material of a coil, a method for manufacturing the aluminum alloy wire, and the coil. Further, since the Al alloy wire has the high strength and the high toughness, it is hardly cut off when forming an insulating coated layer, such as enamel, and further, the wire is easily wound when coiling and is hardly cut off.
