    • PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to extend the lifetime of an organic electroluminescent device by maximize heat dissipation efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting unit(30) is formed on a substrate(10). The light emitting unit comprises a first electrode(31), an organic layer(35), and a second electrode(37) successively laminated on the substrate. A sealing member(60) seals the light emitting unit while being attached to the substrate across the light emitting unit. The sealing member is attached to the substrate and a sealant(70). A heat dissipation layer(50) transfers heat generated in the light emitting unit to the sealing member while being touched with the light emitting unit and the sealing member.
