    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resistant composite pipe member facilitating a jointing operation and eliminating the need for processing a joint in jointing outer layer pipes by completely fitting and mounting a packing to a member to completely prevent detachment while preventing generation of a cavity inside the outer layer pipe and at a boundary of the outer layer pipe and the packing, when an incombustible hardening material (outer layer pipe material) with fluidity is fitted and mounted to the packing, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this fire-resistant composite pipe or a pipe joint 2 for a fire-resistant pipe with a thermoplastic synthetic resin inner pipe inside a flameproof or incombustible outer pipe, a recessed portion 11 for securing connection of a packing 10 and the outer layer pipe is provided on a face annularly formed using a thermal expansion material and contacting the outer pipe. The annular packing 10 having means for flowing air to a face opposed to the contact face at the recessed portion is also fitted and mounted to an end of the outer layer pipe.
