摘要： Provided is syringe, of the kind in which a dose of the drug is entrained by a fluid flow for delivery, comprising an upstream portion which provides, or is arranged to provide, a source of fluid under pressure (10); a downstream nozzle portion (26); an intermediate portion (fig 2) between the upstream and downstream portions comprising first and second members which are coupled together to provide a closed pocket for containing the does of the drug and further wherein one of the first and second members is moveable relative the other member; and an actuator mechanism (16,18,21) for initiating a flow of the fluid from the source whereupon the pressure of the fluid causes one of the first and second members to move relative to the other member and to open the pocket thereby exposing the dose for entrainment by the fluid as it flows through the intermediate portion and to and through the nozzle. The intermediate portion described above is separately claimed as a capsule adapted for containing a does of drug to be delivered within a pressurised fluid flow.

摘要： The device and the method are used for atraumatic needle-less introduction of particles of a therapeutic means or of genetic material in live organism tissues through its covering skin layer. By them sterility of the supplied particles is attained, as well as reduction of their losses. The device comprises an upper cylindrical body with a reservoir (10) for pressurized gas and one-way valve (25). The upper cylindrical body is dismantably connected to first tubular part (11) in which a chamber (12) is formed the lower bottom of which is in the form of a tearing membrane (20) fixed to a nozzle along its perimeter. The nozzle is dismantably mounted to the first tubular part (11) containing a previously prepared capsule including a dose of particles. The capsule is formed of periphery connected elastically indestructible blister seat (21) and a covering layer (22) between which the particles are contained. The capsule rests in the nozzle connected to chamber (12). By the method the particles (23), laid in advance in the capsule, being in a state of rest, are driven and adjustably accelerated by means of gas under pressure and are ejected to the surface layer of the living tissue. Driving of the particles is made by means of a shock wave created by the impact effect of the gas under pressure on the external surface of the blister nest (21) of the capsule and at this the said surface transits from first cavity into a second projecting stable position. 15 claims, 7 figures
