    • The present invention is a completely portable film dryer. The film is hung in strips within an encircling shroud. A heater assembly positioned at the top of the shroud blows warm air downward over the suspended film strips and out through exhaust vents near the shroud's bottom. A drip pan at the bottom of the shroud catches any free water drops. The entire unit, with the film placed inside, can be hung from a clothes hanger, shower curtain rod, or other suitable point. Power is provided to the heater assembly via a 110 volt AC plug or a DC adapter (for automotive cigarette lighters and the like). When not in use, the invention collapses to a significantly reduced size so that it can be transported in a suitcase or equipment container.

    • A blow dryer attachment for pets which delivers diffused warm air at an efficient temperature and coverage area and also allows hands free operation. The blow dryer attachment has a pouch 12 which serves as a diffuser for heated air. The pouch is connected to a blow dryer thru the pouch's aperture 16.     • A drying and mixing plant is provided comprising a tapered inner drum (1) and an oppositely tapered outer drum (4) attached together concentrically and rotated as a unit. A burner (37) directs a hot air stream into the small end (2) of the inner drum (1). Material is fed into the small end of the inner drum, where impellers (40) lift it and drop it into the hot air stream and move the material through the inner drum (1) aided by the downward taper of the inner drum. The material exits the inner drum and enters the outer drum (4) where an additive material is introduced and mixed with the material (42) as both move through the chamber (28) between the inner and outer drums to a material outlet. The receiving end (5) of the outer drum (4) is enclosed in a shroud (12), therefore the air stream is directed through the chamber (28) between the drums, the chamber having an expanding cross section which slows the air down allowing fines to precipitate out.     • This invention relates to a vacuum processing apparatus having vacuum processing chambers the insides of which must be dry cleaned, and to a method of operating such an apparatus. When the vacuum processing chambers are dry-cleaned, dummy substrates are transferred into the vacuum processing chamber by substrates conveyor means from dummy substrate storage means which is disposed in the air atmosphere together with storage means for storing substrates to be processed, and the inside of the vacuum processing chamber is dry-cleaned by generating a plasma. The dummy substrate is returned to the dummy substrate storage means after dry cleaning is completed. Accordingly, any specific mechanism for only the cleaning purpose is not necessary and the construction of the apparatus can be made simple. Furthermore, the dummy substrates used for dry cleaning and the substrates to be processed do not coexist, contamination of the substrates to be processed due to dust and remaining gas can be prevented and the production yield can be high.
