    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which can prevent leakage of a refrigerant.SOLUTION: Header tanks 2,3 of a condenser 1 have a cylindrical tank body 7 and closing members closing both end openings of the tank body 7. The tank body 7 is formed by forming a metal blank 10 in a cylindrical shape, partially superposing both side edges on each other and brazing both side edges of the metal blank 10 superposed on each other. A piping member 13 is brazed to the header tank 2. The piping member is provided with a recessed brazing surface 15 with which a part of an outer peripheral surface of the tank body 7 of the header tank 2 comes in surface contact, and a refrigerant passage 13a the one end of which is opened to the brazing surface 15 and where the opening communicates with the inside of the header tank 2. The brazed part of both side edges superposed on each other of the metal blank 10 in the tank body 7 of the header tank 2 is located on a part deviated from the opening of the refrigerant passage 13a on the soldering surface 15 of the piping member 13.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a cylindrical or deformed vessel without necessitating deep drawing by constituting a vessel formed of an outer vessel and an inner vessel and having the hollow gap inside of which is evacuated and an opening part capable of being opened and closed by a cap of two members symmetrical on right and left. CONSTITUTION:The cold and heat insulating vessel 10 is formed of metallic outer and inner vessels and the inside of a hollow gap is evacuated and the opening part 12 capable of being opened and closed by the cap 13 is provided. The vessel 10 is constituted of the two members 11a and 11b symmetical on right and left dividing a cylindrical main body 11 in two vertically with respect to an axis and the respective members 11a and 11b are abutted and fixed on each other. Further, the cylindrical main body 11 can be also constituted of a couple of symmetrical cylindrical members 11c and 11d before and behind divided in two vertically along the axial direction of the main body and the structure and manufacture of the cylindrical members 11c and 11d in this case are the same as the above-mentioned members 11a and 11b.
