    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dispersing an additive from an additive cartridge disposed in a housing of an oil filter.SOLUTION: Stagnation pressure is used to disperse an additive 43 from an additive cartridge 18, and a flow rate of the additive is regulated by restricting an inlet opening of an outlet tube 74. The additive cartridge has a housing 40 defining a receiving area of the additive and a fluid inlet path 70 through a wall of the housing, the inlet path increases a pressure within the receiving area. The inlet path is disposed adjacent to an outer wall of the housing and has an outlet path 64 through the wall of the housing. The additive is dispersed from the receiving area when a pressure of the outlet path is equal to or higher than a predetermined value. The outlet path has an outlet opening 64 at an outer wall part of the housing and is covered by a shroud 65 configured to deflect fluid flowing in a first direction away from the outlet opening. The inlet opening is positioned to receive fluid flowing in the first direction, and the additive passing through the outlet path is controlled by varying an opening of the outlet path.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for stabilizing the concentration of an aerosol. SOLUTION: The apparatus for stabilizing the concentration of a previously generated aerosol includes: an aerosol inlet channel; an aerosol pressure adjustment unit accelerating the aerosol; a buffer which is connected to the aerosol pressure adjustment unit via an aerosol transport channel and has a much larger sectional area than the aerosol inlet channel and the aerosol transport channel and in which the aerosol accelerated by the aerosol pressure adjustment unit reaches the buffer via the aerosol transport channel and is mixed in the buffer; a feedback channel connecting between the buffer and the preceding channel to the buffer to feedback a portion of the aerosol present in the buffer to the preceding channel to the buffer; and an aerosol outlet channel releasing the aerosol uniformly mixed in the buffer.
