    • Forms for display of clothing and the like with magnetically attachable parts are provided. The magnetic joints comprise a magnetic assembly with a depth-of-pull sufficient to cause the attachable part to begin to pull toward the form at a distance preferably greater than one-half inch, preferably about one inch. Preferably the magnetic assembly has a depth-of-pull of at least about 120 gauss at a distance of one inch. A metallic plate is arranged in mating configuration with the magnetic assembly. Mating pins may be provided, as well as indexing pins. If the manikin is knocked over, or if the attached part is pulled or bumped, it will come loose rather than breaking off; and the mating parts are self-seeking in use, so that they will come together in proper orientation even when being mated beneath clothes. A bump to the manikin sufficient to overcome the on-contact strength of the magnetic attachment may not result in detachment of the limb because of the depth-of-pull strength of the magnetic assembly. The indexing pins allow the limbs to be placed in a variety of positions.

    • Forms for display of clothing and the like with magnetically attachable parts are provided.     • An improved rotary lobe pump has a pumping chamber (1) having a housing (2) closed by a front wall (3)and a rear wall (6). The front housing wall (3) is secured to the housing (2) by bolts (4) and is sealed with a gasket (5). The housing (2) comprises a rear housing wall (6) running parallel with the front housing wall (3). The rear housing wall (6) includes an orifice designed in the form of a sealing hub (7) through which a drive shaft (7) enters the pumping chamber (1). A rotor in the form of a rotary lobe piston (10) can be slidably placed on that end (9) of the drive shaft (8) which projects into the pumping chamber (1). Provided on the rotary lobe piston (10) and integral therewith is an axial extension in the form of a sleeve (13) which surrounds the drive shaft (8) and passes through the sealed hub (7) the seal (20) surrounding the hub (7) is thus in contact with the sleeve (13). The sleeve (13) comprises a bead-shaped edge (13a) by which it pushes against a stop (14) surrounding the drive shaft (8) in an annular configuration. This stop limits the axial displacement of the rotary drive piston (10) in the direction of the rear housing wall (6).

    • A transporter which allows a single motor/magnetic coupler assembly to be coupled to one of a plurality of agitator tanks. The transporter includes an arm which is pivotally connected to a frame. The arm supports a motor and an outer magnetic mixer assembly that can be coupled to an inner magnetic mixer assembly located within the inner cavity of an agitator tank. The arm is adapted so that an operator can move the outer magnetic mixer assembly between a first position and a second position. The outer assembly is coupled to the inner assembly when in the second position and decoupled from the inner assembly when in the first position. The transporter has wheels so that the operator can move the outer assembly and motor from one agitator tank to another agitator tank.

    • A climbing apparatus is provided for climbing ferromagnetic surfaces, such as storage tanks and steel frame structures. A magnet assembly is rotatably mounted in a frame assembly. The frame assembly provides a pair of cam surfaces having different dimensions so that, when the frame is rotated, the cam surfaces contact the ferromagnetic surface to separate the magnet assembly from the surface. The different cam dimensions enable one side of the magnet at a time to be detached from the surface to reduce the effort needed to disengage the climbing apparatus. The cam surface also provides for smoothly attaching the apparatus. A hardened dowel pin is also attached to the frame and the pointed end of the dowel engages the surface when the magnet is attached to the surface to prevent downward sliding movement of the assembly under the weight of the user.
