    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress minute vibration of a piston generated in a positioning target position neighborhood or the like by a very simple means in a pneumatic cylinder for positioning control.
      SOLUTION: A minute vibration suppressing mechanism 20 is added to a piston rod 6 of the pneumatic cylinder 1 stopping a piston 5 at a target position by positioning control. The minute vibration suppressing mechanism 20 has a friction member 21 formed by a pair of seal members 21a contacting the piston rod 6, an air reservoir 22 for compressed air supplied to a periphery of the rod 6 is formed by the friction member, and an air passage 23 is provided for carrying out supply and exhaust of the compressed air to the air reservoir 22 for generating sliding friction suppressing the minute vibration with the rod 6 via the friction member 21.

    • The invention relates to a hydraulic system comprising a source of high pressure (A), a consumer (C) connectable to the source of high pressure (A) via a flow control valve (21 ), and a solenoid valve (22) arranged to control the flow control valve (21 ). The hydraulic system further comprises a hydraulic pilot valve (31 ) selectively controllable by the solenoid valve (22) to connect a control chamber (28) in the flow control valve (21 ) either to the source of high pressure (A) or to a low pressure side (T). When the solenoid valve (22) is actuated, the consumer (C) is pre-pressurized via a by-pass conduit prior to the opening of the flow control valve (21 ). At the same time, the source of high pressure (A) is arranged to act on a first and a second end (32, 33) of the hydraulic pilot valve (31 ) wherein a spring (36) is arranged to displace the hydraulic pilot valve (31 ) and connect the control chamber (28) to the low pressure side (T) to open the flow control valve (21 ).

    • A fluid power system includes a hydraulic machine. A pilot-controlled supply valve controls high-pressure fluid to the machine. The valve is coupled between the hydraulic machine and a high-pressure fluid source, and includes a control port for an actuation signal. The supply valve allows passage of fluid from the machine to the fluid source, but blocks passage of fluid from the fluid source to the machine while closed, or permits passage of fluid from the fluid source to the machine while open. The supply valve biases toward closed or open according to an actuation signal at the control port. A pressurization valve is also coupled between the hydraulic machine and the high-pressure fluid source. The pressurization valve blocks passage of fluid from the fluid source to the machine while in a first position, and allows a restricted passage of fluid between its input and output ports while in a second position, to allow pressure to equalize on either side of the supply valve before the supply valve opens.
