摘要： A control system is disclosed that accelerates the rise in temperature of a catalyst provided in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. The system increases the intake air amount after the engine starts and retards the ignition timing according to a rotational speed of the engine. In this control system, a failure of the catalyst temperature rise acceleration control is diagnosed according to the engine rotational speed and/or a retard amount of the ignition timing during the execution of the catalyst temperature rise acceleration control. The above failure may also be diagnosed according to at least one of the ignition timing and the engine rotational speed when decreasing the intake air amount during the execution of the catalyst temperature rise acceleration control. The above failure may also be diagnosed according to a detected catalyst temperature and an estimated catalyst temperature.

摘要： A key recovery condition encryption apparatus includes a hashing unit, a first concatenating unit, and a condition information encryption unit. The hashing unit calculates a hash value on the basis of a hash function using a key recovery information text serving as information necessary for performing key recovery. The first concatenating unit concatenates the hash value from the hashing unit to the key recovery condition. The condition information encryption unit encrypts a concatenating result from the first concatenating unit by using a first encryption key. Also is disclosed a key recovery condition decryption apparatus for decrypting the encrypted data from the above encryption apparatus.

摘要： A key recovery information distribution device is provided between a recoverer device and a key recovery device, recovers a data key for the recoverer device, and reduces the load of the recoverer device. Data is encrypted using the data key and stored with key recovery information. The recoverer device which decrypts the encrypted data distributes the key recovery information to key recovery devices through the key recovery information distribution device to recover key information. A recoverer is authenticated directly between the key recovery device and the recoverer device, and then the key information is transmitted to the recoverer device, and the recoverer device recovers the data key.

摘要： A camera in which a photographing lens tube is movable between a collapsed position assumed in a non-photographing condition and an extension position assumed in a photographing condition. The camera is provided with a barrier swingingly rotatable through a hinge between a fully closed position at which the barrier covers a front surface section of a photographing lens and further to take a fully open position at which the barrier retreats from the photographing lens. The barrier is biased in a closing direction when it is in a fully closed position side relative to a substantially middle position between the fully closed position and the fully open position, while being biased in an open direction when being in a fully opening position side with respect to the substantial middle position. With a power switch being switched from its OFF state to its ON state, the barrier is shifted from the fully closed position to the fully open position in conjunction with the movement of the photographing lens tube from the collapsed position to the extension position.

摘要： A radar module includes a high-frequency signal generator comprising upper and lower parallel conductive plates, at least one dielectric rod held between the parallel conductive plates, a metal diode mount held between the parallel conductive plates, a gunn diode member mounted on a side of the diode mount, and a printed-circuit board mounted on the side of the diode mount in covering relationship to the gunn diode member and having a bias supply circuit on its surface for supplying a bias voltage to the gunn diode member. One terminal of the gunn diode member extends through a through hole defined in the printed-circuit board, is exposed in the vicinity of the surface of the diode mount, and is connected to the bias supply circuit. The printed-circuit board has a rectangular metal pattern dimensionally adjustable for adjusting the oscillation frequency of the gunn diode member, and a varactor diode for modulating the frequency of a signal generated by the gunn diode member so that the high-frequency signal generator can function as an FM signal generator.

摘要： A fuel injection valve (10) has a valve member (2) arranged to be controllably movable in an axial direction toward and away from a circular valve seat (4) so as to control fuel flow from a port (5) downstream from the valve seat. An axial fuel passage (7) extends from upstream of the valve seat (4) through a clearance between the seating portion and the seat (4) for producing a substantially non-swirling fuel flow from the port (5). A transverse fuel passage (8) is also provided and the transverse fuel passage extends transversely to the axial passage and communicates with the axial fuel passage at a location offset to a diameter of the valve seat for producing a swirling fuel flow from the port (5). A combination of swirling and non-swirling fuel flow is thus supplied by the port (5), for producing finer fuel droplets of improved distribution.
