    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conduit splitting tool being inserted easily into a conduit and capable of splitting the conduit into a plurality of sections while being supported surely on the inner surface of the conduit after insertion, and to provide a method for splitting a conduit using that tool. SOLUTION: The conduit splitting tool has a plurality of barrier walls 5 extending radially in cross-section and an extension tube 6 having cross-section extending in the length direction is formed at a part thereof. The conduit 1 is split by inserting the conduit splitting tool 2 into the conduit 1, extending the extension tube 6 of the conduit splitting tool 2 by inner pressure and pressing the forward end of the barrier wall 5 against the inner surface 8 of the conduit 1. Since the conduit splitting tool 2 is inserted into the conduit 1 under a state where the barrier wall 5 does not come into pressure contact with the inner surface of the conduit an then the barrier wall 5 can be brought into pressure contact with the inner surface 8 of the conduit by extending the extension tube 6, the conduit splitting tool 2 can be inserted easily into the conduit 1 and supported surely on the inner surface of the conduit after insertion thus splitting the conduit 1 into a plurality of sections.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing a conduit, which dispenses with pressure-control measures such as assembling of timbering or application of hydraulic pressure in the injection of a back-filling material and can impart a high strength in the application of an existing pipe heavily damaged by corrosion or the like even by use of an inexpensive back-filling material having a relatively low strength. SOLUTION: As a repairing material to be arranged along the inside surface of an existing pipe, a repairing material 1 is mainly composed of a plurality of rectangular surface materials 11 having a protruding part 11a protruding to one side on each long edge and a reinforcing member 121 of high rigid material having the form circumferentially divided into a plurality of pieces of an annular body substantially similar to the sectional form of a conduit to be repaired and also having a plurality of cutout parts 121a formed on the inner side, wherein an annular reinforcing material is integrated to the circumference of a cylinder consisting of a plurality of surface materials within a manhole or existing pipe by fitting the protruding part 11a to each cutout part 121a. Such repairing materials 1 are axially connected while assembling, whereby the strength of the repairing material 1 itself is improved by leaps and bounds, compared with in the past, so that the repairing material 1 itself is resistant to the injection pressure of a back-filling material, and the strength of the conduit after repair is assigned thereto.

    • PURPOSE:To surely give a folding tendency by inserting a flat cylindrical body between a receiving roller having a groove on the outer periphery and an interposingly pressing roller having a disk fitted to the groove and, after bending the cylindrical body in the width direction, bending same into a U-shape by a pair of folding rollers perpendicular to those rollers and, then doubling same in the width direction. CONSTITUTION:First, a lining material A is interposingly pressed between folding rollers 1, 1 and folded flat and, then fed into a bending device 2a. One side of the lining material A is interposingly pressed between the groove 8a of a receiving roller 5a and the disk 9a of an interposingly pressing roller 7a and curved in the width direction. After that, both edge portions of the lining material A are bent in the direction of the disk 9a by means of a pair of folding rollers 10a, 10a, into nearly a U-shaped section. Further, the lining material A is sent into second and third bending devices 2b, 2c in order to be curved into a complete U-shape and, after doubling the lining material A in the width direction by means of doubling rollers 10c, 10c, it is interposingly pressed between retainer rollers 3, to give a folding tendency to the lining material A.
