摘要： Disclosed is a Single Condition Amplification/Internal Primer (SCAIP) sequencing method which allows for the rapid, accurate, and economical analysis of any large multi-exon gene. The method can be used to detect genomic mutations in any large multi-exon gene including the dystrophin gene. In some forms, the method can rely on amplification of a large number of exons at a single set of PCR temperatures with a first set of amplification primers followed by sequencing without optimization of individual amplicon conditions, using a second, internal set of sequencing primers. The SCAIP method provides for the identification and analysis of specific individual genomic mutations such as deletions, point mutations, frameshifts, or combinations thereof, in gene complexes with multiple exons/introns spanning large genomic regions.

摘要： The invention relates to a brake lining mounting, especially for rail vehicles, comprising a lining support which is encompassed at both of its longitudinal ends by guide sections, preferably at least partially by the plates of a lining holder which holds the friction lining. A pin is provided on the lining support and is able to move perpendicularly to the lining support. When the pin is placed under spring tension as the lining holder is pushed up onto the lining support, the pin extends through an opening provided in the lining holder in such a way that the lining holder is stopped on the lining support by this single pin and cannot move in relation to the lining support. At least one spring in the form of a spring clip acts on the pin. The spring clip can be moved into a raised release position against the force of its own tension, carrying the pin with it. The pin is thus released from its engagement with the opening in the lining holder in such a way that when the pin is in its release position, the lining holder can be pushed away from the lining support.

摘要： In order to prepare thermoplastic molding materials ofA) 5-95% by weight of a modified polyphenylene ether,B) 5 to 95% by weight of a thermoplastic polyamide,C) 0 to 25% by weight of an impact-modifying rubber, andD) 0 to 50% by weight of auxiliaries and/or additives,the components A and B and if necessary the components C and D are fed individually at one or more points into an extruder, mixed with one another, and melted. The component A present in a pulverulent consistency is compacted and/or sintered under pressure and if necessary with the addition of heat, preferably at a pressure corresponding to a nip pressure of 1 to 100 kn/cm to form a porous compact before it is fed into the extruder. The compact is then modified and added as granules to the feed zone of the extruder. In this way the proportion of the fines in the polyphenylene ether is considerably reduced, so that there is virtually no further danger of dust explosions. Further advantages include an improved ease of metering and reduced electrostatic charge.

摘要： A vehicle includes a power inverter module (PIM), a motor/generator unit (MGU), vehicle components, temperature sensors, and a controller. The sensors measure temperatures of a motor winding of the MGU, and temperatures of the multiple phase outputs of the PIM. The second plurality of temperature sensors measures temperatures of the vehicle components. The controller calculates an average temperature of the components, and individually diagnoses each temperature sensor using the average temperature. A control circuit for the vehicle includes the first and second plurality of sensors and the controller. A temperature performance diagnostic method includes using the first plurality to measure a temperature of the motor winding and the phase outputs of the PIM, using the second plurality to measure a temperature of the components, calculating an average temperature of the components, and individually diagnosing the performance of each of the first plurality of sensors using the average temperature.
