The rectangular inlet duct and the rectangular outlet duct can facilitate laminar flow of reactant gases over a susceptor. Movable partitions can be configured to define a plurality of zones within the chamber. Each zone can contain a different reactant gas, concentration of reactant gas, and/or flow rate of reactant gas. Enhanced laminar flow can be provided, undesirable depletion of reactant gas can be mitigated, and enhanced control of reactant gases can be facilitated.

The method starts by providing a growth substrate having a top surface characterized by a first thermal expansion coefficient (TEC). A mask having a plurality of openings therein is formed on the top surface of the growth substrate. The top surface of the growth substrate is exposed through the openings in the mask. A first epitaxial layer of a first material is grown on the exposed top surface of the openings to form discrete islands of the first material. The discrete islands from adjacent openings in the mask do not contact one another. The first epitaxial layer is characterized by a second TEC. The first and second TECs differ by more than 5 percent. The mask includes a mask material on which the first material will not nucleate.

摘要： A method and system for performing chemical vapor deposition are disclosed. A chemical vapor deposition reactor can have a generally rectangular chamber that is configured for cross flow and/or zone flow control of reactant gases therethrough. One reactant gas can be injected into the chamber from one end thereof to create cross flow. Another reactant gas can be injected through the top of the chamber. Inert gas can be injected into the chamber to enhance flow control. By providing cross flow and zone flow control, more uniform deposition can be obtained. Also, parameters such as gas flows are less coupled to one another and can therefore be more easily controlled.

The bundling device mainly includes a sheet medium stacking mechanism, a bundling mechanism and a pinching mechanism, the bundling mechanism mainly including a paper belt looping mechanism, a hot-pressing and bonding mechanism and a paper belt cutting-off mechanism. The paper belt looping mechanism includes a guide groove for guiding the paper belt; the head and the tail of the guide groove are connected to form a conveying loop; an opening of the guide groove faces an inner side of the conveying loop; a bottom part of the guide groove is provided with a paper-belt inserting port and at least one paper-belt conveying wheel; and an opening end of a side wall of the guide groove is provided with an elastic guide piece parallel to the bottom part of the guide groove. The stacking and bundling device also includes a pressing mechanism in bundling and a leveling mechanism after bundling. The invention effectively solves the unreliability for forming the loop by the paper belts, the bundling effect is improved, and the notes are bundled tightly and level.
