摘要： A method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for editing an electronic document containing markup language tags are provided. According to the method, a computer application program for editing an electronic document operates in one of two editing modes. In a first editing mode, any markup language tags contained within the document are displayed. In a second editing mode, the markup language tags are not displayed. However, when operating in the second editing mode, a determination is made as to whether any of the markup language tags are empty. For each of the tags that are empty, a placeholder is displayed. The placeholder may comprise the name of the tag or a user-defined text string. The placeholder may be selected and utilized to insert data into the tag, delete the tag, or move the tag without viewing the tag itself.

摘要： A fuel tank assembly (12) is provided for containing liquid fuel and supplying that fuel, upon demand, to an internal combustion engine. The assembly (12) includes a tank (14) in which is disposed a fuel pump module (18). The fuel pump module (18) includes a cup-like reservoir (34) which houses a fuel pump (46) and carries along its outer side wall (36) a fuel level sender unit (32). A float arm (60) extends pivotally from the fuel level sender (32) and swings up and down as the level of fuel in the tank (14) changes. The float arm (60) is pivotally supported on a carrier (58) attached to the side wall (36) of the reservoir (34). A sliding interface (62) is disposed along the side wall (36) of the reservoir (34) for slidably receiving and securing the carrier (58) along a captured alignment path. The fuel level sender (32) can be infinitely positioned in the longitudinal direction along the sliding interface (62) during assembly of the fuel pump module (18). The sliding interface (62) provides a more robust, more adaptable technique for positioning and fastening the fuel level sender (32) upon the reservoir (34).

摘要： A mechanism is provided for embedding an object in a receiving or client document such that a client application may operate on the embedded object to include interrogation and modification of data contained in the embedded object. When a given document object is embedded into a receiving document, data representing the embedded object is saved to a data stream storage for the receiving document. When the embedded object in the receiving document is subsequently requested in response to an operation executed on the embedded object, the receiving application obtains the data representation of the embedded object from the data stream storage. Once the receiving application obtains the data representation of the embedded object, the receiving application may perform operations on the embedded object by accessing the embedded object via its data representation.

Data can be stored in a separate location from the presentation surface of the word processor document. Users of the word processor application can establish links (or bindings) between the contents of the data and the presentation surface. A user can modify contents of a word processor document by directly changing the linked data without having to deal with the complexity of the presentation format, which can be constantly changing. A user can modify content of a word processor document, by editing a data store without any knowledge of the current layout of the presentation surface. A user can modify complex backing data through simple document edits, without exposure to the complexities of the data structure.

According to the method, a UI control is displayed that includes a border surrounding the portion of the electronic document and one or more UI items that allow actions to be performed on the portion of the electronic document. The UI control may be displayed continually or displayed when user input is received within the portion of the electronic document. The border of the UI control may form a bounded region that is displayed transparently over the display of the portion of the electronic document. The transparency of the bounded region may be increased gradually when user input is received in the portion of the electronic document and removed gradually when user input is subsequently received outside the portion. A selectable region may be provided within the UI control for selecting and moving the portion of the electronic document to another location within the document.

摘要： An ATM includes a currency note dispenser having a currency cassette, a note picker, a note transporter, and a note presenter. A cassette tambour door automatically opens during insertion of the cassette into the dispenser. The picker can pick notes through the opening. A spring loaded housing wall tab retains the picker shaft in mating connection with a drive pin. The transporter can move notes vertically and horizontally. The transporter includes belts between an idle shaft and a drive shaft. The idle shaft is vertically movable relative to a drive shaft to maintain belt tension. The transporter also includes convexly tapered rollers that automatically recenter a loose belt. A presenter gate is at a note dispensing outlet of the ATM. The gate is opened by actuating a lever linked with an arm connected to the gate. The gate opens by moving a pin upward in an angled slot.
