    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick and accurate measurement of the concentration of dioxin compounds using chlorophenol compounds as index substance therefor. SOLUTION: This quantitative analysis method for dioxin compounds in an exhaust gas employs chlorophenol compounds as index substance for the dioxin compounds. In other words, a correlation is previously determined between the amount of the chlorophenol compounds as index substance and the amount of the dioxin compounds and hence, the amount of the chlorophenol compounds can be converted by a data processing to the amount of the dioxin compounds by measuring the amount of the chlorophenol compounds. In the measuring method of the chlorophenol compounds, the exhaust gas is treated to remove dust and, then, is brought into contact with a porous body made of carbon at 100-200 deg.C to selectively adsorb the chlorophenol compounds. The porous body is further heated to desorb the chlorophonol compounds, and the compounds are measured. Otherwise, after the removal of the dusts from the exhaust gas, a dehumidification of the gas is performed without forming water drops using a steam separation film or the like, an adsorbent is applied to adsorb the chlorophenol compounds and heated to desorb the compounds. The compounds are measured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which can correctly measure the concentration of chlorobenzenes in an exhaust gas, by adsorbing chlorobenzenes sufficiently while suppressing, as much as possible, the adsorption of substances, such as water, in the exhaust gas which lead to a trouble of a gas chromatograph apparatus, and analyzing the chlorobenzenes by a chromatography apparatus. SOLUTION: Dust is removed from an exhaust gas and a carbon porous body is used as an adsorbent to adsorb chlorobenzenes included in the exhaust gas at an adsorption temperature of 100-200 deg.C. The adsorbent is heated further to desorb the chlorobenzene, etc. The desorbed chlorobenzene, etc., is analyzed by a gas chromatograph apparatus. Substances such as water, included in the exhaust gas, which are apt to cause a trouble to the gas chromatograph apparatus are not adsorbed, but separated, so that the chlorobenzenes can be selected and adsorbed. Accordingly, the chlorobenzenes can be analyzed stably with high analyzing accuracy.
