CONSTITUTION:A pulley 202 is made to rotate on a housing of a compressor 100 following a rotation of an engine. Individual driving side clutch plates 203 and 206 and individual driven side clutch plates 207 and 211 are mutually abutted with a piston 210 displaced when the compressor is made to operate. In this case, at the time of reduced starting, an electric current from an on-vehicle battery 300 is supplied to the second spring 217 composed of a shape memorized alloy by a controller 301, and thereby the piston 210 is made to be displayed by an energizing force of the second spring 217. then individual clutch plates 206 and 211 of the second driving side and the driven side, and individual clutch plates 203 and 207 of the first driving side and the driven side are made to be abutted in order, and the rotation of the pulley 202 is transmitted via a hub part 209.

    • PURPOSE:To apply the optimal force onto each wheel and to support the attitude of a vehicle stably by arranging a variable pressure regulator, a modulator and a cut valve for every wheel, then controlling to supply the optimal pressure to each wheel cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Cut valves 310-340 and modulators 410-440 are arranged respectively in the way of hydraulic pipings for coupling respective wheels 105-111 with a master cylinder 103 coupled to a brake pedal 101. While variable pressure regulators 210-240 are arranged respectively at the joints of a hydraulic pump 117 and the lead-in pipings 170. The operation is explained referring to the right side of a front wheel as follows. On the basis of a detection signal from a wheel sensor arranged on a wheel, a switching signal is fed from an electronic controller to the variable pressure regulator 210 to control the pressure in an input chamber 412 of the modulator 140. Then a movable piston 411 is pushed by the pressure led into the input chamber 412 to produce a pressure in an output chamber 413 which is fed to a wheel cylinder 105. When the pressure is being fed, the conduit between the master cylinder 103 and the wheel cylinder 105 is closed by means of a cut valve 310.

    • PURPOSE:To perform an operational check on a valve, by making a control valve, which lowers the extent of braking pressure if starting operation is made out of a car stopping stage, open for the specified time long and then opening a selector valve between a pressure generating device and a braking device. CONSTITUTION:When a wheel speed is slower than the setting car speed and a brake pedal 1 is operated, it is judged as stoppage whereby a selector valve 40 is switched to a second position, keeping pressure in each of wheel cylinders 4 and 5. And, in case of a torque converter type automatic transmission, when a shift lever is in a running range position and an accelerator pedal is operated, it is judged as a starting state. At this time, control valves 41 and 42 is switched to the second position for the specified time long, releasing the pressure in these wheel cylinders 4 and 5, and starting is made performable. After that, the selector valve 40 is switched to a first position.
