CONSTITUTION:Gyrocompasses 10 and 10 are mounted on a succeeding truck 3 connected to a shield machine body 1 through a coupling rod 2 moving on a rail. After that, an angle made with the coupling rod 2 and shield machine bod 1 is detected by an angle detector 11 provided to a pivot with the coupling rod 2 and shield machine body 1. An angle made with the coupling rod 2 and the succeeding truck 3 is detected by an angle detector 12 provided to a pivot with the couplind rod 2 and succeeding truck 3. A position of the shield machine body 1 is calculated on the basis of an azimuthal angle of the gyrocompasses 10, position data and detection data of both angle detectors 11 and 12. At that time, the succeeding truck 3 moves on the rail, so that the gyrocompasses 10 are not influenced by sideslip of the shield machine body 1, and accurate position measuriang data can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation, bucking, and the like of reinforcements from generated due to applied pressure after concrete is placed on a reinforcement cage, by binding the two reinforcement cage divided-bodies of U-type cross-sectional-areas formed with fusion- welded distributing bars and main bars folded in the shapes of U, to be confronted with each other, and by composing a reinforcement cage. CONSTITUTION:On the external sides of four main bars 2 arranged in parallel with each other, distributing bars 3 folded in the shapes of U are fusion-fitted, and divided bodies 4a, 4b are composed. After that, the one-side divided-body 4a is provided with the four distributing bars 3, and the width is set to be about 2/3 of the width of a reinforcement cage to be composed. After that, the other divided-body 4b is provided with eight distributing bars 3 in total, and the width of the four distributing bars 3 on the central section and at both the end sections is set to be about 2/3 of the width of the reinforcement cage, and the width of the other four distributing bars 3 is made roughly equal to the width of the reinforcement cage. When the two divided bodies of the U-shaped cross-sectional areas are bound to each other and great pressure is worked at the time of applying pressure to concrete, then with the force, bound sections 5 are deformed, and a section between the divided bodies 4a, 4b slids, and the force is absorbed, and deformation or buckling is prevented from being generated on the divided bodies 4a, 4b and the reinforcements.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify a lining mechanism by additionally functioning a propulsion jack for excavation as a device for pressurizing placed concrete when a shield hole is formed as a lining is applied at the rear part of an excavator by means of cast-in-place concrete. CONSTITUTION:Gable forms 3 are connected to the rear end of a propulsion jack 2 of a shield excavator A through a regulating jack 10. The jack 10 is retracted toward the acing (a) side, and after joint bars 9 and iron bars 12 are arranged, inner forms 5 are framed. After the jacks 2 and 10 are expanded to press a spreader 11, mounted to forms 3, against the forms 5 for securing, concrete 1 is placed. The jack 2 is expanded as the jack 10 is slackened, and the concrete 1 is pressurized by the forms 3. After the jack 10 is secured, the jack 2 is expanded to effect excavation, and a back-filling material 3 is injected. This constitution simplifies a mechanism and improved operability.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield tunnel widening method which is inexpensively carried out without using a special shield machine etc.
      SOLUTION: According to the shield tunnel widening method, after construction of a shield tunnel by assembling segments, a chemical solution is poured into the shield tunnel to form a poured section 10a, and then an upper segment 5a is removed, followed by excavating the poured section 10a, to thereby form an excavated section 15a at a widening scheduled location. Thereafter a lower segment 7a is removed, and a lower portion widening segment 19 is set, followed by removing side segments 9a, 9b, 9c. Then the removed lower segment 7a and the side segments 9a, 9b, 9c are set at the widening scheduled location, and an upper widening segment 25 is set, followed by setting the upper segment 5a at the widening scheduled location. In this manner widening of the shield tunnel is carried out. In order to ensure the rigidity of the tunnel during execution of widening work, a jack timber 11, a lower support 21, and an upper support 27 are set in the tunnel.
