    • PURPOSE:To carry out a good performance of combustion at a specified excess air factor in compliance with the rate of air blow by conducting the control on the basis of the wind amount sensing output and the temp. sensing output so that the ratio of the amount of fuel supply to the rate of air blow. CONSTITUTION:The rate of air blow Qa is proportionate to the difference of the pressure Pc in a combustion chamber 26 from the atmospheric pressure Po. This provides measurability for the pressure Pc in the combustion chamber with respect to the rate of air blow Qa in compliance with a temp. signal given by a temp. sensor 29, which represents the gas temp. in the combustion chamber 26, to give information about the electrical amount to be fed to an electronically controlled gas proportioned valve 15 for obtaining the rate of fuel flow in accordance with the rate of air blow Q. In this manner the rate of air blow to the combustion chamber 26 and the temp. representative for the chamber are sensed, and on the basis of outputs therefrom an electrical amount is fed which shall be corresponding to the proportioned valve 15 with governor function used for supplying the fuel, and thus the excess air factor is adjusted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of start-up performance or fuel economy and cleaning property of exhaust gas generated when fuel is adhered to a wall surface of an intake flow path or an intake valve in a fuel injection control method of an internal combustion engine.
      SOLUTION: In the internal combustion engine with a fuel injection valve 10 for injecting fuel in an intake flow path 11 for every cylinder 5, a plurality of numbers of fuel injections are performed in one cycle for every cylinder. One injection of them is performed during a period where an intake valve 9 is opened and in-cylinder gas blows back in the intake flow path 11. Also, a ratio of a fuel injection amount during the period where the in-cylinder gas blows back relative to a total fuel injection amount for one cycle of the cylinder is set in accordance with an intake flow path side surface temperature of the intake valve 9 and a measurement amount varying with an inner surface temperature of the intake flow path 11.
