摘要： The invention provides a method for the preparation of a carrier liquid which comprises the steps of: (I) preparing a single phase solution comprising: (a) a solvent or a mixture of miscible solvents, (b) a liquid carrier material, which is soluble in solvent (a), and (c) a dopant material which is also soluble in solvent (a); (II) cooling (preferably freezing) the single phase solution produced in step (I) to a temperature at which at least both the solvent (a) and carrier material (b) become solid; and (III) removing solid solvent (a) from the cooled (frozen) single phase solution in vapour form, such that the remaining cooled (frozen) carrier material (b) and dopant material (c) are returned to ambient temperature thus providing a product of liquid carrier material (b) having dopant material (c) dispersed therein.

摘要： A method for selecting antennas in a multiple-input, multiple-output wireless communications network that includes multiple stations is presented. Each station includes a set of transmit RF chains and a set of receive RF chains, and each RF chain is connectable to a set of antennas. A first station transmits a training frame for each possible subset of the set of antennas, and the set of transmit RF chains are connected to the subset of antennas according to a connection mapping rule while transmitting each training frame. A subchannel matrix is estimated in a second station for each frame. The subchannel matrices are combined to obtain a complete channel matrix. A particular subset of the antennas is selected according to the complete channel matrix. The set of transmit RF chains is connected to the selected particular subset of antennas to transmit data from the first station to the second station.

摘要： Memory sharing techniques are provided for offloading an application from a host processor to an integrated sensor hub (ISH). A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes allocating a shared region of memory to be accessed by the host processor and by the ISH, in connection with the execution of a location application. The method also includes storing a location database in the shared region of memory. The location database is divided into segments, where each segment is associated with an area, for example, defined by a range of latitudes and longitudes. The method further includes transferring, through a direct memory access (DMA), one or more of the segments between the shared memory region and a second memory associated with the ISH. The method further includes executing at least a portion of the location application on the ISH, based on the data segments stored in the second memory.
